To all student-athletes: The coach who gets on you, challenges you, and holds you accountable? That’s the coach you want to play for. One day, you’ll look back and say, “Thank you.” That coach isn’t just trying to make you a better player. They’re helping you become a better person, husband, father, leader, and teammate. The coach who lets everything slide may feel easier in the moment - but easy doesn’t prepare you for the future. Accountability isn’t punishment. It’s an investment in who you’re becoming.
