I Think TUA's first play back should be a QB designed run to show the League he ain't scared. #gofins
A first round what?
Report: The #Colts are seeking a 1st round pick in exchange for QB Daniel Jones, per @RichJohnsonNFL

BINGO!!!!! 👇🏻
A thought I had this morning..
I think JES/Hafley/Slowik could be looking to keep Kadyn Proctor at LG long-term.
When you look at the offense they are building and the way that they have been leaning on this exact power concept with Proctor pulling in key situations (goal line, ice game).
Then you look at the style of outside zone they're running more often (I think) where they're running towards the open side of the formation and you typically end up with a bang/bend read instead of a bounce - you need guards that can be people movers. Maybe that part changes when you go back to more Achane than Ollie.
Overall, I think we're seeing an offensive scheme that's moving towards featuring KP more than him just being a piece of the puzzle - much in the same way that Mike McDaniel featured Aaron Brewer the past 2 seasons. And I understand why - he's got some stuff to clean up - but he is legitimately trending towards a pro bowl caliber guard. Why mess that up unless you absolutely have to?

More on Hafley looking his offensive linemen in the eye at 2 minute warning, before successful 4th and 1 call on Willis sneak that sealed the win: Hafley told OC Bobby Slowik to hang on, then went over to his line and told them: "If we get the first down, I'm kneeling and we are winning the game.' They looked at me and said 'coach, we're going for it.'" He said essentially, OK we better get it.
"I said, 'Bobby call the play.' Anytime you can talk to players and give them ownership, the type of guys we have, I was pretty confident we would get it out of them."

Jeff Hafley's monologue on the identity of this Dolphins team will get you FIRED UP 👀
"We keep asking about identity - who are we? What do we want this team to be as we build the foundation? Its toughness, resiliency, physicality, how we play the game.
The two instances of that I'm super proud of is we got hit with a big play, but we strained to get the (Jets player) down at the 1 yard line. And then it was first and goal inside the 1, and they wound up going backwards three plays in a row. That needs to be our identity. When things get hard, are we going to go in the tank or are you going to step up and fight? When you're 0-5 are you go fight or back into a corner? That's who we are, who we need to be.
Then at the end of the game, we have a chance to drain out the clock. We ran the same (gap-scheme) play three times in a row on offense and it was awesome. We got to 4th and 1 - and we need to be tough, physical to finish out games when the game is on the line. When I looked into the guys' eyes I could see it and feel it, after that there was no way we weren't going to go for it."

I'm sure it's frustrating as hell for a corner to deal with a 6-4 WR who can shake you at the breakpoint.
I'm sure it's frustrating when that player can slip a tackle and outrun the defense for a 60+ yard TD.
But I bet what's most frustrating is how Caleb Douglas blocks every single play. Through the echo of the whistle. Every. Single. Snap.

We all know the real reason lol
For those wondering about the 4:25 Dolphins-Patriots start time, that made sense for the NFL to balance out Sunday's CBS schedule. CBS already has 2 strong East/Midwest games at 1 p.m. (Baltimore-Buffalo, Cleveland-Pittsburgh). Most of country will get Chiefs-Denver (with CBS lead team Nantz/Watt) at 4:25; some in East will get Dolphins-Patriots (with CBS No. 4 team Andrew Catalon/Logan Ryan). I'll tweet maps Wednesday.
