5. Respect your coaches and parents.
If you disrespect an AAU coach or a parent, college coaches can assume you will disrespect them as well.
When your coach is talking, actively listen and make eye contact. Don’t get upset with hard coaching, welcome it and be grateful for it.

Coaches you’ll be criticized for...
-Playing them.
-Not playing them.
-Making moves
-Not making moves
-Pulling them
-Not pulling them
-Disciplining them
-Not Discipling them
At the end of the day, you’ll be critiqued, but DID YOU DO WHAT’S RIGHT FOR YOUR TEAM AND YOUR PROGRAM?

A teammate who holds you accountable, keeps you focused, & tells you the complete honest truth is so much better than a teammate who watches silently as your bad habits, bad attitude/selfishness affect your game, the team, everything around you. Real teammates never sit silently!

If you start your day off complaining, ungrateful, upset or with any type of negativity, you’ve made a choice to have a bad day. Never allow situations, circumstances or people to control your attitude or mood. We’re not promised enough days to have bad ones. #Ap2w

This isn't just about the four years they spend with us. I hope the lessons they learn under our guidance stay with them for the rest of their lives. I hope that they find their passion and pursue something they love. The disciplined person can do anything.

Players will make mistakes.
Coaches will make mistakes.
It's not the mistakes that matter, it's how you respond to them.
