The goal is to raise physically capable, confident kids who can think critically, exercise discernment, & make sound decisions.
The goal is to prepare them for the real world.
Not raise kids who used to be good at <insert sport> when they were younger.
Don’t get it twisted.

Florida State-Miami might be playing the greatest game of all time.
Update: refs ruined an all time finish with a holding call.

I was thinking about something MUS golfer Drew Knighton said after his team won the state title Friday. “I think we’ll all be friends forever.”
I don’t doubt it and here’s why. Those guys came in at the ground floor together. They traveled together; they bonded together. They failed together before they ultimately succeeded together.
They climbed the mountain together. They didn’t meet up for the first time 10 feet from the top.
There’s real value to that.

Really great golf from MUS this week. They had the winner, a tie for second and a tie for fourth. Hard to beat that.

If you cheat a workout, you’re only cheating yourself. If you take shortcuts, you’ll pay the consequences eventually. But if you respect your craft and do things the right way, even when no one is watching, you’ll be rewarded with great results.

The longer I coach, the more I realize that the secret to being a great coach isn't designing cutting edge training, it's the ability to repeatedly and consistently avoid doing dumb stuff.

Athletes, there’s NO “Football Specific” Strength or Speed Training…
This is all just a marketing scheme setup by people trying to take your $
Strength and Speed development is all general physical training. Invest in a proven coach/system to achieve the results you want🫡
