I finally did it.
Bought my first Mutant Ape. 🧪
Watching ApeFest from the sidelines, I couldn't help but feel a little FOMO.
For years, friends have told me how incredible the Ape community is. How they show up for each other, support each other, and make you feel like you're part of something bigger.
And honestly, seeing that energy around ApeFest made me want to experience it for myself.
Then Yuga dropped Mudwater.
A trading card game, bringing collecting, gaming, and community together. Seeing that unfold while we're building something we're incredibly passionate about at Hamieverse made the timing feel almost perfect.
I've always believed the strongest communities in crypto are built around shared experiences, not just floor prices.
So here I am. New PFP, new community, same passion for building.

I remember seeing Bored Apes going for around $400 back in 2021. I was ready to buy one, until I saw the gas fee was another $400. I backed out.

A lot of people are missing what Yuga did so right with Mudwater. They gave 70% of it to their most loyal fans and advocates. They instantly turned 15,000+ unique holders into evangelists.
"hey normie friend, you should come buy this $3,000 NFT" - crypto, wallets, security, and the pure cost just too much to onboard the average person.
"hey normie friend, let's play this card game" - Let them enjoy the product and the brand, then dive down the rabbit hole.
So many other NFT projects missed the mark by leaving their NFT holders out to dry with web2 activations when they could've involved them to become the companies most valuable assets, there is no better investment than allowing your most die hard supporters to share in the upside and be part of your marketing arm.
