Barring a JT trade and others (still very plausible), an new GM could have a solid foundation of players to build this team off of for the 2027 season including: • Jonathan Taylor • Alec Pierce • Matt Goncalves • Tyler Warren • Adetomiwa Adebawore (most likely extended) • Sauce Gardner • Charvarious Ward • Justin Walley • AJ Haulcy That gives you plenty of use of your 2027 draft picks to rebuild the WR room, DL room, LB room, and add depth at multiple positions. The Colts in 2027 are projected to have $97.8m in cap space with more likely to be added with the possible trade/cut of Daniel Jones and other players under contract. That amount of cap they will have gives you a lot of opportunity to attack free agency in a way we haven’t seen Chris Ballard do (never did much anyways). That being said, this team has a lot of room for growth but will still need to find a QB for next year whether it comes from the draft/FA/trade. A chance for this franchise to truly reset and I’m here for it.
