Glad this is happening. A year overdo, but happy we got another leg in the building.
I’m told the Chiefs have at least 1 kicker in town working out with the likelihood of signing one of them to the practice squad

Get it done. We got the extra 3rd. Do it, Veach.

The #Chiefs are interested in Colts WR Josh Downs. Raiders, Jaguars, Patriots, Rams and 49ers are also said to be in the mix. Per, @JoshTaylorFB.

Let the Colts fire sale begin! Gimme Downs
Trade: Colts have agreed to send eight-time Pro-Bowl guard Quenton Nelson to the Seattle Seahawks, per me and @rapsheet. Nelson is on an expiring contract and the Colts are opting to get back draft capital now before they could lose him in free agency. But an all-time Colt now moves on to the Seahawks.

I’m listening to @ConcernsChief and @JasusTD89 pretty much said the same things I said in regards to Patrick Mahomes’ performance on Sunday Night but a good amount of you in #ChiefsKingdom keep coddling and putting the blame on somebody else all the time when we lose. I’m good over here lol I’m holding him to a standard. What y’all currently doing is not helping him get back to what we were accustomed to seeing from him before.

Nick Wright on Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker after 1-3 performance on Sunday Night Football: "He started splitting his time between football and activism, and he hasn't been quite as good. That is just the timeline of it." 🏈 📺

I've said it 50 times already, but a Thornton replacement is hard to find. He's one of 19 receivers with positive separation and win rates on all of go, post, and corner routes since last year (per @FantasyPtsData) and look at some of the other names on this list...
The Aftermath top stories, including the Chiefs potentially adding WR help via trade and a look at Aaron Glenn in New York and Shane Steichen in Indianapolis.

Andy Reid talked about #chiefs getting beat in all three phases. This was not coachspeak. Looking at @TruMediaSports, Seattle's 20-3 win is first time a Reid-coached team was -4.5 EPA or worse in each phase: OFF, DEF, ST TruMedia data reaches to 2000. @nflfastR has since 1999 and an #eagles loss that year to Carolina might qualify. That's the only comp for this defeat in Reid's head coaching career. An undefeated team dominated completely

Big fella, you know that’s not how that works. The responsibility of knowing the playbook is on the player, especially if you want to be an integral part of this Offense. Know your position, study film and know your assignments, especially when everyone is vying for playtime. If you are unsure in what you’re doing you can’t contribute. If I expect you to fill the role of a starter, then you have starter responsibility. That’s why guys with less talent could play more because they know what they’re doing. I assume he knows the plays because he’s playing, but mental mistakes cuts your playing time. Now to be fair, It could’ve been the moment moving fast, the noise or whatever, but players still gotta be on top of their game. Limiting his knowledge, limits him. Preparing him to be the difference maker we know him to be is vital. As players, we study like our career depends on it, because it does!
Another legit criticism of this coaching staff is they need to find a way for young WRs to learn the offense quicker. Allen clearly has talent. They need him to know what to do. Make it easier
