Honored to be invited to the White House this afternoon to witness @POTUS sign my bill, along with two other fiscally responsible FY26 @HouseAppropsGOP funding bills, into law.
I’m deeply proud of the effort that went into this critical legislation, and its accomplishments that work to advance an America First policy agenda.
It was great spending the morning at @NatlParkService's Minidoka National Historic Site celebrating the impact of the Great American Outdoors Act, which addresses high-priority maintenance needs across the National Park System, including right here at Minidoka.
Our national parks are among our nation’s crown jewels. This news is welcome as we celebrate America’s newest national park.
Americans are grateful to have an Administration that prioritizes our national parks and the opportunities they provide millions each year to get outdoors and learn about the places and people of our great country.
Chiricahua’s towering rock spires, rich Apache heritage and remarkable biodiversity make it one of America’s most extraordinary landscapes.
This new designation will shine a national spotlight on one of Arizona’s hidden gems, creating opportunities to welcome more visitors, strengthen local economies and share this incredible landscape with more Americans.

At Forterra’s Idaho test range, we push autonomous mission systems through extreme temperatures and unforgiving terrain. @KMVTNews joined @CongMikeSimpson, @RepEllzey, and our CGO @scott_sv to see that work up close.
The autonomy tested here is already powering resupply missions in Ukraine. Unmanned vehicles carry medical supplies, food, and ammunition to the front lines, sustaining operations while keeping soldiers off dangerous routes.

I joined my colleagues in requesting an investigation into the activities of Planned Parenthood.
We outlined our concerns and look forward to receiving answers.
Republican lawmakers are putting Planned Parenthood's federal funding under the microscope.
A coalition of 128 House and Senate Republicans is asking the HHS Inspector General to conduct a broad review of taxpayer dollars going to Planned Parenthood and its affiliates and, if appropriate, open an investigation.
If federal officials uncover misconduct, the lawmakers want them to consider measures ranging from administrative action and suspension to exclusion from federal healthcare programs or referrals to other authorities.
The request comes while the SBA separately reviews whether 38 Planned Parenthood affiliates were eligible for more than $88 million in COVID-era PPP loans. That review itself is not a finding that the affiliates broke the law.
