MSU football play-by-play commentator George Blaha is celebrating his 50th season announcing the Spartans. At 81, Blaha said he still loves what he does and continues to rely on that passion, even though he knows his time behind the microphone will eventually come to an end.

On his radio show, Pat Fitzgerald explained why that MSU punt downed at the 1 got called a touchback by Rosemont (no camera angle).

For @testudotimes, @JudeWilkenfeld and I were outside Jones-Hill House trying to get players to comment. An athletics staffer took pictures of us, and a police dispatch was called for suspicious activity; a cop and 2 cop cars pulled up, and officers ID’d us and asked us to leave.
