The right is looking for converts while the left is looking for traitors. The United States will never have a popular left wing party until this changes

The Constitution is intended to protect the bedrock of fundamental rights enjoyed by all Americans. When political winds shift, that bedrock becomes even more critical. Supreme Court caselaw is perhaps the best buffer between the People and temporary political majorities. This is precisely why cases like our two Assault Weapons Ban cases pending before the Supreme Court as so critical. Oral arguments are on December 2nd. saf.org/join-saf/

Additionally: Take liberal friends and family shooting. Show them there’s nothing to be afraid of. Show them it’s fun. Don’t be condescending. Then get them to get NFA items. And tell them that if they vote away how it is, every one will be $200 and have a waiting period.
Just so we're clear. I expect ALL of you to start building as much unregistered NFA stuff as you possibly can. It's time to bury the NFA by making it utterly unenforceable.

These midterms sent a clear message: Americans across party lines want leaders who prioritize public safety and reject the Trump administration’s “guns everywhere” agenda. With gun violence prevention majorities in Congress, now it’s time to deliver. bit.ly/3WmGwvq

Yk how every YN everywhere has machine guns all the time and never gets hemmed up for it till they get caught committing actual crime? Crazy how that works for those of us who don’t commit crimes that would get us hemmed up, good for thought

For firearms specifically, it’s important to remember New Mexico which has a Democrat run state legislature has failed to pass any major gun bills because people will perpetually call state representatives to complain ever time one comes up
Yall better learn how to protest and call your lawmakers cause it's probably gonna be an interesting couple of years

Chin up kids, we got a few big fights ahead of us. But winnable, no blackpilling, no being a coward.
Democrats took the House and the Senate last night. It was a bad night, and gun owners will feel it. Hakeem Jeffries is in line for the gavel, and Chuck Schumer is back in charge of the Senate floor. Give it a day. Someone in Washington will say gun owners were “too extreme” and the grassroots picked the wrong candidates. ..... What? Republicans held the House, the Senate AND the White House for two years. Constitutional Carry never got a vote. Your tax dollars are STILL funding “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation grants. They had the power and sat on it. Republicans never handed us a win. We had to TAKE them ourselves. After Sandy Hook, Washington called gun control a "done deal." So NAGR members flooded Congress, and every one of those schemes died. Then we made sure the gun grabbers paid for it at the ballot box. So anyone that sees last night as a mandate for gun control should overplay their hand and find out. See: 1994, when they passed Feinstein's "assault weapons" ban. Two months later, they lost control of both chambers of Congress. Politicians learned the same lesson in 2010 and 2014. Anyone reading last night as a mandate for gun control should overplay their hand and find out. Gun owners didn’t go anywhere last night. We’re still here.

Oh they're gonna swing on guns, the NFA in particular, but stuff like an AWB federally? Doubt that's getting through. On the state side, Viramontes is gonna close the door on AWBs, so you're likely gonna see permit to purchase, Red Flag, and other similar mid-level threats fights. Stuff that doesn't scare the boomers too hard. It's neither a victory or a blow out, there is gonna be battles ahead, and ground to be won back. Why it's so hard to manage people's expectations on this stuff. They have a light switch between "It's so over" and "we won and nothing bad will ever happen again"
Replying to @ArmedJ0y
I don’t think there’s stomach among the liberal base to go after guns or reverse this in any serious way. If they want to start winning even more they’ll just drop the concept of firearms restrictions from their platform entirely.

I'm not doomer on the NFA stuff at all. I knew this was a breach of the walls, but far from a conquest. The goal was always to make this as awful as humanly possible for them when it eventually swung back. We are still in the ascendancy, and it was still a massive leap forward. Now, millions of people who looked at NFA reform/abolishment as a pipe dream just got a real taste of what it would be like. That matters. Liberal reddit boards were even defending the injunction. We are winning. Will we continue to win. It's just always a tug of war still.
The opposite, it's taken half a step forward and will be pushed 30 feet on it's ass. I'm not being a doomer it's just the harsh reality we perpetually find ourselves in from cunts in congress that would sell out any progress made for a Slim Jim.

You gotta understand, before the Big Beautiful Bill fight, it was common even amongst gun rights activist circles to view going after the NFA as a waste of time. NO ONE would actually move on it. Not talking about politicans and lawyers either. Normal gun people, hell, radical gun autists even. And I got the numbers to prove it too! When we ran petitions on the NFA or advocacy for NFA stripping bills, basically no engagement with it. People wouldn't shut up about it online, but when the time for actual ACTIVISM came, no one showed up. NOT ANYMORE BOYS. Completely different landscape. The second Clyde actually snuck the $0 stamp in we went from like 20 signers and callers on NFA stuff to tens of thousands. My small team in one department ALONE gathered around 30k. We're in play now. And you better thank the small, small number of people behind the scenes who cracked this door open, despite the naysayers and hand sitters.

The GOA team will be back tomorrow for more election updates and what it means for the Second Amendment. One thing is clear. GOA will ALWAYS defend and protect the Second Amendment no matter who is in the majority.

No seriously. And you have less time than that. A year, likely. Summer is going to be a nasty fight over the budget bill that they will ABSOLUTELY try to jack the NFA stamp back up, which then invalidates the court order. I'm gonna be in there swinging like a psycho, but there's always a chance we don't hold it off. Then you're the guy with 3 months left, panic-buying with everyone else. Buy, build, print. Submit 100 E-forms in a night for guns you don't even own yet, as I did. Get in while the grass is green, cause I absolutely see this potentially coming to a rapid end.
Get your cans and SBRs now. In 2 years they're going to throw everything they've got at us.
