I know zero people who spray glyphosate to ripen wheat.
Perhaps the congressman might benefit from a conversation with an actual farmer.

Hey we may not have gotten $5k DOGE checks, $2k tarriff rebates, 20 million deportations, the abolishment of the IRS and the Department of Education or cheaper gas but at least we got a war that nobody wanted that doesn't benefit us in any material way whatsoever.
Just their decisions and profitability lol
Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins said Wednesday that increased #fertilizer #prices amid the #war with #Iran will not impact the majority of U.S. farmers.

In all of 2024, China only exported 262K tons of urea (vs a normal 5 to 5.5M).
This year, they have exported 4M tons with Nov/Dec still to go.
Current global urea values are 20% higher than the same time last year.
Please make it make sense.

Probably one the biggest economic blunders in history.
$500 million in 15 days means $12 billion a year in additional tax revenue.
Literal trillions in wealth destroyed, interest on the debt increased, the dollar weakened, businesses wiped out all over the world, literally every single country in the world antagonized... all for raising a yearly amount of taxes that can fund the US military budget for just 4 days.

The Trump Tariff Tax is the largest peacetime tax hike in U.S. history. These Tariffs are nearly 10x the size of those imposed during the Trump-Pence Administration and will cost American families over $3,500 per year. Check Out“Spoiling America’s Golden Age”@AmericanFreedom 👇

One of the reasons why tariffs have historically failed to “bring back” jobs to an already wealthy country like the United States is twofold.
Let’s say you “succeed” and make it so expensive to import into your country, that you can only viably produce it domestically.
1) Who the hell is going to buy your crap? People couldn’t afford your stuff because you’re too expensive to begin with. And now, since countries retaliated, you are even more expensive as an exporter.
2) Your domestic economy gets crushed by inflation. $2 Chinese t shirts are now $20 Wisconsin t shirts. Domestic consumers cannot afford it either.
So no job growth.
History warns us.

Because they’re fucking idiots.
Why slap tariffs on Vietnam of all places when you're TRYING TO DECOUPLE FROM CHINA?

See thread below. It’s not a “discounted reciprocal tariff rate”. It’s a country’s US trade surplus divided by their US exports.
These clowns make Pete Hegseth look like Albert fucking Einstein.
It’s a complete fucking joke except the joke is on us.

Trump cancels 20 semi-truck loads of food deliveries en route to Ohio food bank.
Each truck holds 100,000 lbs—so that’s $2 million worth of food—about a week’s worth for Northeast Ohio.
"This food is just going to sit and spoil... And that would be the loss of 2 million, 3 million pounds of food," explained Food Bank CEO Kristin Warzocha.
They only discovered the food deliveries were canceled when they checked the website for USDA’s Food Assistance Program —no official notice was provided.
After Trump signed executive order last week, the USDA completely eliminated the Local Food Purchase Assistance and Local Food for Schools Programs.
But why cancel truck deliveries already in progress and waste all that food!?

It is very hard to deal with this. Here is a USA senator saying that the people of Greenland are "all in on it".
The leader of Greenland viciously says no. Every single member of the Greenlandic parliament says no. They just had an election two weeks ago. No one who wants to be American was elected. Not a single one.
A recent very large poll showed that 85% are against leaving Denmark to become part of the USA. Only 6% supported it.
It is almost unanimous. Never has a NO been clearer.
Yet these f..... people just continue to lie and tell the American public that people in Greenland want to be part of the USA. And the American "journalists" let them get away with it.
It is unbelievable.

8/ Of course Zelensky had to make his point that Putin won't honor the "ceasefire". He does it diplomatically with a question to Vance (likely so as to not directly confront Trump on TV).
And then Vance see his chance. He commences the ambush.
The whole thing was a set up.

7/ You've seen the clips that follow. But the whole meeting is a set up.
By pushing this plan to hand Ukraine to Putin (IN FRONT OF ZELENSKY!), Trump is trying to either humiliate or provoke Zelensky.
But he does neither, and so Vance has to light the match.
Jim retweeted
6/ Vance - visibly angry - calls Zelensky "disrespectful" for asking his simple question. And then starts listing Russian talking points about how weak the Ukrainian army is how poor a leader Zelensky is.
It's Vance that takes a cordial meeting to a hostile one.

5/ "Putin has signed many agreements about Ukraine and he hasn't honored any of them. Aren't you worried Putin will violate the terms of this ceasefire?"
That's it. That's the question.
And this is where Vance and Trump explode. The trap was set and now the ambush starts.

4/ So at the 40 minute mark, Vance chimes in. He appears agitated. He says that Trump's fake "ceasefire" is the only way.
All that happens at this point is that Zelensky asks Vance a simple, calm question. Zelensky isn't being rude. And here's the essence of the question:
