@CountyMaterials manufactured and delivered 28 prestressed bridge girders, each measuring 175' long by 82" tall, and weighing 202,000 pounds for the Eisenhower Bridge of Valor. At the time of production, these were the largest concrete girders in Wisconsin. #HowPrecastBuilds

Yesterday, I toured County Materials Corporation in Springfield. CMC employs over 1,500 people in 40 locations across 6 states. The manufacturing industry is critical to our economy and it's great to see the positive impact CMC has on our local economy.

Truck Country built a new Freightliner location that has open repair and maintenance bays with an overlooking mezzanine for office space. 21,582 sf of #hollowcore plank in 10" and 12" thicknesses was used to build the mezzanine. Nice project, @CountyMaterials! #howprecastbuilds

The site was a sunken, cracked concrete slab of an old Wal-Mart garden center. Because it was leased: They couldn’t remove the slab, they couldn’t build outside the slab, and anything added onto the slab had to be removable. hardscapemagazine.com/taking…
