Sad to hear Sue Baker has died. I invited her to @covcampus a few years back to talk to students and she was very generous with her time. She had some great stories to tell of her pre-Top Gear days covering motorsport - and taking part, too, as a rally navigator.
So sad to hear this. Ian was very supportive of @CovAutoJ and up-and-coming motoring writers in general, and a champion of the Midland Group's Phil Llewellin and John Connor awards for young motoring journos. Also, a thoroughly nice bloke.
