What @transitmatters achieved today is nothing short of profound.
Outstanding, whip-smart grassroots advocacy has put Massachusetts on the course to completely reimagine its commuter rail network as high-frequency regional rail.
Congrats to all involved.
We did it!! The FMCB has resolved to transform @MBTA_CR into electrified, accessible, frequent #REGIONALRAIL essentially using the phased framework we laid out in our reports. THANK YOU!!!

What, exactly, is the the point of having health insurance in America if I pay the company yet they don't pay my health care costs? This is called a scam. Only in America. USA! USA! Time for #MedicareForAll
Nice to see @transitmatters hard work starting to produce results and achieve wider recognition, and I'm proud to have been part of the small group who got it started. politico.com/magazine/story/…
I'm a transit planner & a bus driver, and if I can't understand your service in two minutes or less, with minimal knowledge of the area, you're not explaining it well. Example # 2,586: catransit.org/service-routes…
Or, in the world’s richest nation, where the majority are poor and cities full of cara, we could stop charging fares altogether. criticaltransit.com/blog/201…
Let the #bike tour begin! Leaving Portland by bus, will be riding Newport, Oregon to Eureka, Calif. Too much stuff for sure but it will stay dry!

And remember that fact-checking is an ongoing process. We all remember Colin Powell holding up his little phial of 'evidence' & convincing the world of WMD's. Truth can take longer to establish than fiction, especially in a world full of lies.

We're going to keep reminding people about this, b/c right now we all need to remember how much outright pure fiction is routinely sold to us as 'breaking news'. Don't believe ANY story you see on the media until you have fact checked it.

People who were deeply involved in making the Iraq War happen should be defined by that detail forever. It's amazing that it can become a small footnote to their careers

Read this thread and weep for Western journalism. A couple of pics of men in hats and they're convinced of the entire UK govt narrative. Who cares about the massive inconsistencies, lack of data and strange gaps - pics of men in hats who could be Russian! Case closed
Kremlin media claiming (again) the UK is accusing Russians of Salisbury "without any evidence at all," despite CCTV footage showing 2 Russians flying in, going to Salisbury & approaching Skripal's house on the day of the attack, then rushing back to Moscow ria.ru/radio_brief/20180905/…
