Binance just lost $6.3 billion.
Not to a genius exploit. According to Binance, it started with one compromised engineer laptop.
Deposits and withdrawals are paused. Billions have already been frozen. Binance says it will cover all losses.
If you’re a user, here’s what I’d do right now:
Only trust official Binance channels for updates.
Check your account for unusual logins, API keys and withdrawal addresses.
Reset any API keys connected to bots or third party tools.
Ignore every DM about “compensation” or “account verification”. Scammers are already working this.
Don’t panic withdraw into the first option you find.
And a lesson for everyone in this industry, me included.
Your security is only as strong as your weakest laptop. Exchanges, projects, KOL agencies and market makers all run on the same few devices and accounts.
If a company this size can get hit this way, ask yourself when your team last audited its own setup.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
Before participating, here are some key campaign conditions:
1. Rewards from all three events can be combined, but different trading volume reward tiers within Event 3 cannot be stacked. Only your highest qualifying tier will be rewarded.
2. Event 2 is exclusively available to regular users.
3. Trading volume for Event 3 is calculated on a natural weekly basis.
4. All rewards are issued as one time trial bonuses, with a 30% deduction ratio.
5. Trial bonuses can be used as trading principal and towards trading fees, funding fees and position-closing losses.
6. Wash trading, multi account trading and other forms of fraudulent activity are strictly prohibited and may result in reward cancellation.
7. General eligibility requires a deposit of at least 10 USDT and a trading volume of at least 10,000 USDT during the campaign.
