Has anyone asked why he is selling his two cards?
My heart sank when I dropped it 😓 the PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator aka the rarest and most valuable Pokemon card in the world is officially up for auction.
Bidding is now open on Goldin Auctions
In 1998, only 39 copies of this card — designed by Atsuko Nishida, the original creator of Pikachu — were awarded to winners of a Pokémon illustration contest.
24 years later, I wore it out to my Wrestlemania debut after it set a Guinness World Record for the most expensive Pokémon card ever sold — the ONLY perfect PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator in the world.
One of one. The Mona Lisa of collectibles. The most famous card in human history.
I’m selling it with the $75k custom Pokémon chain, and I’ll hand-deliver it to the buyer. Along with other epic TCG lots, this will be the greatest Pokémon auction of our generation (I’ll definitely be bidding on some of the other items 👀)

Should I sell my childhood PSA 10 Unlimited Jungle Pikachu for a 1st Ed PSA 10 Cubone?
This guy was locked away in a room for 20 years, then graded by myself in 2020.
Cubone and Jigglypuff from Jungle are quietly becoming two of the most scarce and sought after vintage cards behind Kabuto.
Both have seen price surges near $20 with sales in the last year in the 700s.
A few other like Omanyte (FO), Horsea (FO) and Pikachu (JU) have sales in the 800s but price seems to lag as supply may be more available to the market.
Can we look into why the 3 month chart has been bugged since October?

Vintage Pokemon cards are underpriced (if you believe the franchise has longevity). If Pokemon continues to grow, today’s prices will look absurdly cheap in 5-10 years. Supply is simply too small, especially for top condition.
$3,000,000 on the line and they moved it with a couple $300 purchases 😭
This is always bound to happen when you introduce new money markets like @Polymarket
When large amounts of money are on the line, people will not ignore manipulation for an economic advantage.
Insiders always win, in any industry.
Now that people figured out how to manipulate @TCGplayer market price without transacting a single card… wait for this to start affecting the other card’s charts. TCG market price about to become worthless unless they act quickly.
