"Herbs" have stopped happening for a long time now. Like after 2020 you consistently see couples were the man is obviously better looking. I see tourist couples in Greece consistently with 6.5 man and fat 5.3 whale. It's insane.

the elephant in the room in the 'why can't western nerdy media be like japanese nerdy media' is that Comics Code, Hays Code, and the 1950s Red Scare/HUAC brought irreversible damage to American media in general, down to the gene and blood

Like you need to understand comic book fans became writers in the 80's in droves, a forgotten indie boom happened etc and it all led to nothing. You then got the 90's.

You also read comics from the 30's and 40's and it's literally on the same level, if not more juvenile, than comics in the 60's. "Superman and Batman were actually DEEP originally" HAHAHAHAHHAA have you read golden age comics? They were obviously written for 7 year olds.

Discourse is superficial because nobody has the time to explore a topic beyond one or two takes. People poast out of a compulsion to appear superior to traditional media, but that bottleneck was surpassed long ago. There is no serious content and, as such, no serious criticism.

This literally just exists to hunt and kill people. This isn't like building a missile or a gun, those devices kill rapidly. This is a weapon of terror. It stalks you relentlessly.
