People love to go for the "Only a handful of listeners" thing, but I'm pretty proud that someone is actually taking the time to listen, no matter how many I have...A lot of indie acts are in the single digits, so I'm not doing terrible.
This might hurt some peoples feelings but after 6 years on here you start to notice things and almost everyone with a hammer and sickle next to their handle is either cosplaying or performative as fuck...
Communism will never be a thing in America. Even the ones who call themselves communist are weak willed individuals who are mainly just selfish people. So tired of people saying they want to build something but block the people who want the same thing.

No Stream from me tonight. BUT the music video for my single "Come Home Lost Puppy" premieres TOMORROW at 9 AM PST or 12 PM EST! And comes out on ALL PLATFORMS the same day!!!
Got a new #darkwave ditty coming out next Saturday, Oct 24th! It’s all about the surveillance state we live in! After all, we’re ALL lost puppies just waiting to be found by our owners… #fyp #indiemusic #indieelectronic #synthwave
Not sure why I got blocked by someone who I've always had positive interactions with and even told them I appreciate them...
If it's because of my political views, could have just unfollowed or muted...

People really think Covid ended. Like, they really actually believe it, while it continues to come in wave after wave. The state propaganda really did its job. Too bad public health didn't, because they killed it for corporate real estate and political favorability.

Rik Emmett dropped the C from his name because it was omitted as a typo in their debut album, so he kept it as Rik.

According to Karl Marx, atheist critiques of religion are meaningless because even if you tell a person God does not exist until the morning, if that person is hungry, insecure, and constantly oppressed, they will continue to need a refuge. Only when a classless society free of exploitation is built, where people have control over their own labor and destiny, will human powerlessness end, and the psychological and social need for religion will naturally disappear on its own.

If your anger towards Iran is hotter than your anger towards those starving Gaza, something inside you has been colonised.
If you feel more discomfort seeing black banners in Beirut than seeing white phosphorus in Rafah, your problem is not sectarian confusion.
Your problem is that you have accepted empire’s enemy list as if it were revelation.

CBD significantly reduced liver scarring, inflammation and markers of liver injury, while researchers identified a potential molecular mechanism explaining how CBD may help protect against liver fibrosis, according to a study published today. themarijuanaherald.com/2026/…
Been holding back on judgment on this but this looks like clean cut collaboration....
It is becoming very clear that at least some of the "black block" rioters in France were undercover cops, whose aim was presumably to undermine general public support for the schoolkid/student protests and "justify" a further step towards fascistic dictatorship.

The most expensive part of being broke is how much it costs to stay broke.
Can't afford to pay your credit card balance? Interest.
Can't maintain the minimum balance in your bank account? Possible fees.
Can't afford a large down payment on a car? Higher monthly payments.
Can't afford to buy a home? Keep paying rent while trying to save.
And if an unexpected expense wipes out your savings, you might have to borrow money just to cover it.
Every financial setback creates another opportunity for someone to charge you.
Then wealthy people explain how they became successful by making their money work for them.
Congratulations.
Poor people's money is working for everyone else.
