Current information I have on php2Shell:
- The RCEs requires the attacker to obtain memory addresses which are typically protected by ASLR.
- I suspect the original author (lcfr_hax) likely has a reliable exploit which leads to stable code execution.
- Most of the PoCs being posted are completely non-functional AI slop.
- There is at least 1 working non-slop exploit being passed around, but it's reliant on bruteforcing for ASLR bypass, so not particularly impactful.
- Rumor of ITW exploitation are patchy. There are attempts being seen using the non-functional leaked RCE, or variants that are config / system specific.
- Some rumors point towards a known-working exploit being used by threat actors (I've personally confirmed this specific exploit works, but the ASLR bypass technique is unreliable at best and massively limits the potential impact).
- I'd expect heavy ITW exploitation in the next few weeks based on how many people are looking at this. Though, success rates will vary heavily based on the specific exploit chain.

🚨 Claude Sessions Stolen by Infostealer Malware
A Claude user has shared what appears to be a security notification sent by the Claude Team warning that threat actors are actively stealing authenticated Claude login sessions using commodity infostealer malware.
According to the notification:
* Infostealers are stealing Claude login sessions directly from infected computers
* Attackers are then replaying those sessions to access Claude accounts and consume victims' usage
* Anthropic says the activity is NOT related to malware distributed through Claude
* Phones and tablets do not currently appear to be involved
The malware families identified in the campaign so far reportedly include:
* Vidar
* Lumma / LummaC2
* StealC
* RedLine
* Acreed
* Atomic Stealer (AMOS) on a small number of Macs
For affected accounts, Anthropic says it has:
* Invalidated the compromised Claude sessions
* Removed stored payment methods
* Refunded charges identified as unauthorized
* Recommended that affected users scan their computers and secure associated accounts
⚠️ Analyst Note:
This is another example of why MFA alone cannot solve the infostealer problem.
Instead of stealing a password and attempting a new authentication, an attacker can steal an already-authenticated browser session. That session may allow the attacker to effectively "become" the authenticated user until the session is revoked.
The bigger trend is worth watching:
Infostealer → browser/session theft → authenticated SaaS access → account abuse
AI platforms are becoming another valuable target within this ecosystem.
Important: This information comes from an apparent Claude customer security notification shared publicly. We have not identified a corresponding public Anthropic security advisory at this time.
Credit: Reddit user u/WorriedAssociate7029 for sharing the notification.

5 US agencies published AA26-231A on the 19th August. It is the first government advisory to confirm AI-generated scripts being used against industrial control systems.
Threat actors are utilising Censys and ZoomEye to find controllers with port 102 exposed, then creating AI-generated Python built around snap7 to create scripts that look like OT monitoring software which give read and write access to data blocks, configuration and ladder logic.
For S7-300 and S7-400 there is no patch. The protocol implementation sits in hardware that cannot run S7CommPlus.

🚨 Accenture data breach allegedly listed for sale
A forum actor claims to be selling data tied to Accenture, alleging that roughly 35GB of company source code was stolen in July 2026.
The listing describes the exposed material as source code, RSA keys, SSH keys, Azure personal access tokens, Azure storage access keys, and configuration files. A visible sample appears to show Azure DevOps repository data and command-line output tied to a private repository.
The actor describes it as a one-time sale and says payment is accepted in XMR only.
This claim is currently unverified.

‼️ Discord users report a ban wave after being falsely flagged for posting child abuse material, when in fact they're posting ordinary images with grid patterns. Minecraft inventories, spreadsheets, chessboards, game textures.
The problem may reach beyond Discord. An itch[.]io developer says the site received automated child abuse reports on plain gray grid images after moving its image hosting to Cloudflare. Most platforms scan uploads against the same shared databases of digital fingerprints of known abuse material, and simple repetitive images like grids can produce fingerprints that wrongly match entries in those lists. If the fault sits in that shared system rather than in one company's AI, every platform using it could misfire on grids at the same time. Unconfirmed for now, but it would explain why two unrelated services tripped on the same pattern in the same week.
Discord has not publicly acknowledged the issue. Affected users say appeals are coming back automated.

🇫🇷 France | Ministry of Culture Allegedly Targeted
A threat actor has claimed to have breached France's Ministry of Culture (culture.gouv.fr), advertising what it says is a dataset containing information on 45,362 users.
According to the forum post:
* The actor claims an IDOR (Insecure Direct Object Reference) vulnerability was used to access the data.
* The alleged dataset contains 45,362 records.
* Sample data appears to include names, email addresses, phone numbers, organizational affiliations, job titles, and internal directory information.
* The actor states the dataset primarily contains professional contact information.
Daily Dark Web has not independently verified the authenticity of the claim or confirmed that the French Ministry of Culture experienced a security breach.
Analyst Note: IDOR vulnerabilities remain a common cause of unauthorized data exposure when object-level access controls are not properly enforced. Claims involving government systems should be treated as unverified until supported by official disclosures or independent technical validation.

🚨 Darsa AI data leak allegedly posted
A forum actor claims Darsa AI, an AI-powered safety and security company, was breached, with a claimed 90GB-100GB leak posted online.
The listing says the leak includes source code for AI models and computer vision tools, employee data, customer and user data, login credentials, database backups, private encryption keys, spreadsheets, documents, and media files.
The actor also claims the data includes two databases, one tied to a Darsa AI subdomain, with references to authentication tokens, emails, phone numbers, hashed passwords, full names, and other records across 112 tables.
This claim is currently unverified.

🌐 Accenture | Alleged Source Code Leak Advertised
A threat actor is advertising what they claim is a large-scale breach of **Accenture**, alleging the theft of more than **35 GB** of internal data.
According to the forum post, the stolen data allegedly includes:
* Source code repositories.
* RSA keys.
* SSH keys.
* Azure Personal Access Tokens (PATs).
* Azure Storage Access Keys.
* Configuration files.
The actor claims the data was stolen in **July 2026** and is offering the archive for sale, alongside a sample file tree.
Daily Dark Web has **not independently verified** the authenticity of the claims or confirmed that Accenture has experienced a breach matching the advertised dataset.
Analyst Note: If authentic, the exposure of source code combined with cryptographic keys and cloud credentials would represent a high-severity supply chain risk, potentially enabling unauthorized access to internal environments, customer assets, or downstream development infrastructure.

💻 Windows Device Identifier Used to Arrest a Scattered Spider Hacking Group Member
Source: cybersecuritynews.com/window…
A persistent Microsoft device identifier was used to unravel the anonymity of an alleged Scattered Spider operator, according to a federal superseding complaint filed in the Northern District of Illinois.
Peter Stokes, 19, a dual U.S.–Estonian citizen who allegedly used the handles "Bouquet," "Spencer," and "Jordan," was arrested in Finland on April 10, 2026, while attempting to board a flight to Japan.
Microsoft Global Device Identifier, or GDID, was central to unmasking Stokes. A GDID is a unique code embedded in every Windows installation, used by Microsoft for diagnostic telemetry, crash reporting, feature-usage analysis, and license verification, which is why swapping a major hardware component can sometimes revoke a Windows activation.
