I sometimes wonder what happened to the people saying @S_leav10 can't hang in the pocket and process. Finds the 3rd progression here and @jackssonharriss does the rest. This was the dagger for #LSU and seemed to put the game out of reach in the 2nd quarter vs #Auburn

Jackson Harris' 178 yards from Saturday is the most by an LSU receiver since Malik Nabers recorded 239 in Week 3 of 2023 against Mississippi State.

Former LSU baseball commit Luke Tucker lands at Arizona, which is, coincidentally, Jay Johnson’s former school. Best of luck, Luke!

⚾ LSU Baseball Fact of the Day: LSU’s original Alex Box Stadium was once a spring-training home for Major League Baseball’s New York Giants 1938: The original stadium opened with a grandstand designed for 2,500 spectators. Major League visitors: During its first two years, the stadium hosted spring training for the New York Giants. Baseball legends: Giants stars Mel Ott, Carl Hubbell, Bill Terry and Dick Bartell trained there. Opening game: On March 12, 1938, the Giants defeated the Philadelphia Phillies 6–5 in a spring-training game at the stadium. Before Alex Box Stadium became synonymous with LSU’s passionate college baseball tradition, it was also part of the preparation grounds for major-league stars. That connects LSU baseball history directly to the professional game of the 1930s.
⚾ Today’s LSU Baseball Fact: The 1997 Tigers Hit an NCAA-Record 188 Home Runs Fact: The 1997 LSU Tigers hit 188 home runs in a single season, setting an NCAA record, according to LSU Athletics. Why that’s remarkable: 🏆 57 wins: LSU finished 57–13, setting an SEC record for victories in a season at the time. 💣 Power throughout the lineup: The Tigers hit at least one home run in every game that season. 🥇 A championship to match: LSU defeated Alabama 13–6 in the College World Series final to win its second consecutive national championship. The 1997 team became one of the defining examples of LSU’s high-powered offensive era under head coach Skip Bertman

Reminder: this will be the final year that Alabama and LSU play an annual game. Tide and Tigers will not meet during the 2027 season for the first time since 1963. LSU next comes to Tuscaloosa in 2028, and Alabama after next week won't go to Baton Rouge for a regular season game until at least 2030 (the SEC has only finalized schedules through 2029).

LSU: Nice conference win on the road. Good plan on defense. Run stunts landed be gap & zone. 1 a terror off the edge, speed rush, speed to power, inside move. He won often. Set the edge as well. 29 great pass rush reps. Good job forcing false reads on edge vs zone reads. 6 active off the ball CBs contested balls, prevented catches. 5 was great in coverage. Tackled well, limited explosives. 99 good penetration inside. Did not give QB time to set up. QB made great throws. Very few bad decisions. He was comfortable, took what defense gave him, check downs & free grass. Patient to leave pocket. C adjusted well in run game. 7 good with insets & blocking in run game. RPOs affective. OTs lost inside in pass pro a few times. 3 had good run after catch. 4 nice contested balls. Got 13 going a little, physical, great cuts north/south. Zone runs solid. Made defenders miss. Used movement well to set plays up. Nice job with formations to find yards with matchups. Impressive win for a group that seems to be tending up.
