WAIT WAIT WAIT โ€” SO APPARENTLY WHEN YOU ASK AN ADHD KID OR PARTNER A QUESTION, THEY SAY "HUH?" OR "WHAT?", AND THEN ANSWER YOU TWO SECONDS LATER BEFORE YOU EVEN REPEAT YOURSELFโ€”THATโ€™S AN ACTUAL NEUROLOGICAL AUDIO LAG?? Yes, and it is called an Auditory Processing Delay. Here is why there is a 3-second buffering wheel between an ADHD person's ears and their brain: 1/6

This is a very intelligent and reflective thought
MONA ADDRESSES CARDI B CONTROVERSY, SAYS COLORISM PLAYS A ROLE IN SUCCESS Cardi B argued that some people don't get opportunities because they aren't smart enough to market themselves and sell themselves in important rooms. Mona: โ€œI just thought she was so wrong about it.โ€ โ€œCardi is very talented, Cardi better than a lot of people.โ€ โ€œBut If there was a girl that did exactly what I did, and she was big and Black, I can't say that she would make it where I make it.โ€ โ€œI know part of the reason why I made it here is because I have the complexion for the connection. That's my belief.โ€

Funny enough Iโ€™ve implemented this recently For a long time I would just rage queue not recognizing that I was mentally and physically fatigued. Iโ€™ve gained more consistently playing a few ranked games a day than I did queuing for hours at a time. Thatโ€™s specifically because I make sure Iโ€™m at my peak mental and physical while doing it. Games of Deadlock are long. In 8 hours you only get maybe 8-10 games. Playing the game for 3 hours straight will take a toll on you believe it or not. You start to get sloppier leading to losing etc etc. I fully agree with everything poshy is saying
Replying to @SSG_Incon
this is a problem i've seen in every ow & league and only until recently i have become self aware of it. i think this problem has alot of causes, but the main one (imo) is that people are too obsessed with rank gain. if you can discipline yourself to play only when you can output maximum capacity, you will reach the rank you deserve. sure it may take "longer" i always try to tell others that "rank doesn't mean much" for this exact reason, as if you put value in it, your self worth will move alongside your rank gains/losses. this is extremely unhealthy for the reason i provided above, but also for the fact that some games you genuinely can't do anything about. there is no player in any competitive videogame that has a 100% winrate across a large sample size of games getting better at anything in life is not something you can do overnight, it takes weeks/months/years of hard work & discipline to reach your desired goals. i was bronze 5 (lowest rank) in league of legends when i first started playing, and it took me maybe 9/10 years of playing on and off to hit masters (low elo) we as a community should look down upon spam queueing more & encourage people to take breaks during their long deadlock sessions

As someone who used to work thereโ€ฆ At my store we told yโ€™all this yโ€™all just donโ€™t listen ๐Ÿ˜‚
AppleCare+ is one of the most misunderstood products Apple sells. Most people buy it because the salesperson at the Apple Store said "you should protect your new iPhone." They pay $10 to $14 a month, forget about it, and never look at the terms again. A former Apple retail specialist who spent 4 years selling AppleCare told me: "The people who get the most value out of AppleCare+ aren't the ones who buy it. They're the ones who understand what it actually covers, what it doesn't, and how to use it without paying more than they need to. Most people treat it like insurance they'll never use. It's not. It's a subscription with rules. If you know the rules, it pays for itself. If you don't, you're paying for peace of mind you could have gotten cheaper." He said the gap between what people pay for AppleCare+ and what they get out of it isn't about the device. It's about the terms. Here are 8 things most AppleCare+ subscribers never check:๐Ÿงต

Is this not insane. You paid $400 to own the software and updates ๐Ÿ˜ญ This move to subscriptions is so crazy
I just paid $400 once for Final Cut Pro and used it for a DECADE but Apple has been slooooowly dripping more and more features behind the subscription version in Apple "Creator Studio" ... and I think they're finally about to get me to pay ($129/yr) with this latest update. The terrifying speed at which an ADHDer can go from knowing literally zero about a niche topic to understanding it at a senior-consultant level because they went down a 14-hour rabbit hole at 2:00 AM, only to completely lose interest the moment they master the concept.
