It’s unlikely the #Jets are very active at the NFL’s trade deadline, per sources. Players who have fallen out of favor with this staff, or who aren’t playing, could be dealt for later compensation, but this is not like last year (Quinnen Williams, Sauce Gardner). A loss to the #Raiders won’t initiate a fire sale. That’s not going to stop teams from calling — as they have on Garrett Wilson. They’ve been told he’s not getting moved. As for Breece Hall, whose cryptic tweet sent fans into an uproar, I’m told the Jets haven’t had realistic discussions on moving him. They love him as a 1-2 punch with Braelon Allen & see him as part of their future. Now, Mougey always answers the phone when someone calls — doing so got two firsts and AD Mitchell for Gardner. If someone wants to get reckless, as it pertains to Hall, that’s something the Jets will have to address at that time. But barring something unforeseen, I continue to be told the Jets will not be very active here.
