The polling of @brookepigott and @DPinBC were bang on. I sadly owe Dimitri a drink.

Last night British Columbia elected a majority Conservative government for the first time in a century. British Columbians wanted change, and voted for it in a big way.
Playing a part in this campaign as Director of Communications has been one of the coolest things i've ever done. An incredible team that had to be put together on the fly, and pulled off a truly remarkable accomplishment. I'm so proud of so many people.
The future looks bright for BC.
Gas station OOO Burgers are what campaigns are about.
A quick thanks to @angeloisidorou and @DPinBC for the laughs and insights.
I'd happily share a triple O burger in a Surrey gas station with you two sweet bastards any time.

The mood was electric tonight in Surrey.
Voters got to see the @LDoerkson I've known for more than 30 years.
Passionate, committed and caring. He offers strong leadership for serious times.
Vote @Conservative_BC on October 24th to get British Columbia working again.

Spent time with @ayla_dumais, @Conservative_BC candidate in WestVan-Sea-to-Sky. Informed, Ottawa experience, articulate on the issues. Like me, a rookie (albeit 4+ decades younger). I value my MLA, @JValeriote74, but this riding has too many needs to not be at the table now.

Great to meet with Saanich Mayor-elect Rishi Sharma yesterday. Congratulations on your election, Rishi, and I look forward to working with you to deliver for the people of Saanich.

Horgan understood what Eby doesn't: you don't help yourself to a program you've locked everyone else out of.
Eby took a $10 a day spot ahead of the thousands of families on waiting lists he was supposed to be fighting for.

Robinson says Horgan’s government talked about putting a daycare in the Legislature while it rolled out $10-a-day childcare.
Horgan said no. He said it would be “the last place that gets a daycare,” because “we can’t be seen to be ahead of British Columbians.” (2/5)

And a big thank you to our incredible leader @LDoerkson for joining us!

Eby went to Kelowna to play 'healthcare hero,' and media rightly called him out for it.
REPORTERS: I’m just wondering why this is being made as a campaign announcement today for a good year and both the province and Interior Health have denied it was a problem.
I would like you to elaborate a little bit more about the timing of the hospital expansion here. That sixth floor has been sitting empty for well over a decade. There have been calls to get it up and running for quite some time. What is your response to criticism about the optics not looking good here, that you are making this announcement just days before asking people to vote for your party?
Just one more quick question here with the announcement at KGH. How are you planning on staffing this new unit? We know there are shortages everywhere.
So what's your message to voters who are actually genuinely concerned that some of these pledges that would make a difference in their communities could end up as, you know, “broken promises”?

A Conservative government will fund and build the SkyTrain along King George Boulevard to Newton Town Centre, on time and on budget.

We agree! This election is about so much more than election timing.
This election is about David Eby's record of chaos.
On October 24th, Vote Conservative.

NDP desperation tactics are unethical at best. Are they legal?
The province will be so much better off when we finally see the backs of these entitled, self-interested lowlifes.
The NDP sent this disgusting, misleading letter to every household in my riding. It's sad, desperate, and simply not true. I've spent two years fighting for better healthcare while they've failed to deliver it. Now they're resorting to fearmongering.

A statement by ICBA Chief Economist Jock Finlayson on the 2026 Conservative Party of B.C. platform and costing:
"The costed Conservative platform looks reasonable. It is a balanced plan, recognizing that there is much that affects the B.C. economy which is beyond the government’s control.
"The Conservatives intend to take a gradualist approach to deficit reduction, which makes sense given the depth of the fiscal hole Premier Eby has dug and the fragile state of the economy. An important element of fiscal strategy under a new government will be kick-starting the private sector, which has been languishing over the past several years while the broad public sector has continued to expand. The private sector accounts for at least three quarters of all economic activity – including employment – in British Columbia; it also provides the exports and drives the innovation on which living standards partly depend. Under the NDP, the priority has been increasing the size and reach of the public sector, even as large parts of the business community have been struggling or in outright decline.
"A healthier business climate and a stronger private sector economy will help to address B.C.’s difficult fiscal situation by bolstering economic growth and expanding the tax base."

CTV at 6 report on Eby's disgusting attack.
ANCHOR: The tragedy in Wainwright, Alberta became an unexpected issue in our provincial election. The controversy erupted moments after the NDP’s first campaign stop of the day and soon had the party in damage control.
REPORTER: But when David Eby brought up the deadly fire in Wainwright [he] was accused of exploiting a tragedy.
STEWART PREST, UBC: Mr. Eby is really leaning into this kind of nationalist rhetoric and saying ‘This is legitimate, this is loyal. This is not.’ And when you're doing that at the same time, you're talking about a tragedy, then you are opening yourself up to these charges… [Eby] did intend to create a polarizing political environment. And that's what we now have.
REPORTER: Within hours, at a stop in Hope, a show of remorse, an unscheduled political retreat. Days before voters head to the polls, the NDP leader in damage control.

The Conservative Party of BC stands for a strong and united Canada. Always.
David Eby questioning my patriotism is shameful. Invoking soldiers we lost this weekend in an attempt to save his own job is beyond the pale.
This is a desperate distraction from his record.
While David Eby once again tries to divide British Columbians, we are focussed on uniting to get BC back on track.
