For years mental health support has been undervalued and underfunded. It isn’t right for any young person to have to wait weeks and weeks for support, or be turned down for treatment because they're not ill enough. Every young person should be able to get the support they need.

Great to be back in the water last night, but sad that our 18 and overs had to train in the public session that preceded us - and they are only allowed Breast and Free! So in the same pool, with random strangers - where is the logic? @DCMS @Swim_England

There are some LIES that are easily hidden, some others less so. Joe, Shona, Nicola, are you actually saying lane swimming is safer with elite swimmers passing public constantly in close proximity, than club training -passing is a rarity, everyone swimming in their own bubble?

All Pool and leisure centres should be open! It’s the foundation for our sport, where the next generation can grow! Trafford was my first club and wouldn’t be where I am today without them! @UKGovernmentEng
@Traffordleisure not opening in December after strong criticism for having to close previously because of the government, now CHOOSING to close when lots of other leisure centres are open! Not good enough! Wonder what our pro swimmers think about that! @Jimbob95goon

Keep trying - in England, Uni students are treated as U18s for uni training/games as part of an agreement with BUCs. Would be good to get Scottish Uni students to have same policy.

My daughter trains at uni in St A and this has been fact for the last few weeks. Performance swimmers annoy the public and vice versa. Lots of overtaking/contact with randoms that you wouldn’t get in a club. I thought it was madness in Scotland but now it seems to be spreading ..

A&F are brothers. They live together. They train in the same squad. A is 18. F is 16. It's possible A won't be able to train with the Club. But he could book lane swims & swim with 5 people he doesn't know. 7 days a week. That's 35 people in an uncontrolled environment #nonsense
