THANK YOU to those who amplify the posts of the #WritingCommunity. We've all seen the decline in views and engagement because of all the controversy here. To those remaining, it's more important than ever that we support fellow writers by liking and reposting each other’s work.
VIDEO ALERT- How Caitlin Clark Saved the WNBA - Then they blamed her fans.
How I saw the last 3 years, the false narratives that have surrounded the Fever, and the role the media has played.
It’s a long form video - but worth the watch.

Nothing was as it seemed. I planned to kill the man who tortured me and left me for dead. But he was just like me, and we had unfinished business...

Virginians, if you didn’t vote in the last election I hope you now see what an entirely Democrat run state would be. Please get out&VOTE NO to the unfair gerrymandering they want to do to Virginia. They say it is temporary but it won’t be. They will never relinquish their power.

Revising without a plan is like hiking in the woods without a map.
You'll FEEL productive...until you realize you've been walking around in circles for an hour, and now you're just tired and hungry.
That's why you need systems to understand where your story is working and where it still needs work.
Here's my favorite one:

It's 2025, so why do so many female protagonists still feel cliché, flat, and one-dimensional?
If you want to write female characters who are believable, authentic, and multifaceted, ask yourself these key questions. 🧵

Let's face it: a lot of writing tips just aren’t that helpful.
The creative process is deeply personal, and what works for one author might be useless — or even counterproductive — for another.
If you’re feeling lost in the flood of conflicting writing advice, here are the three simple things I think ACTUALLY make a difference.

No matter if you're on draft 1 or draft 100, I promise you CAN achieve your writing goals, but only if you do this one thing:
KEEP WRITING.
There's endless writing advice out there, but at the end of the day, none of it means anything until you put those lessons into action.
I see a lot of writers get discouraged when their writing isn't where they want it to be on the first go, but you're not doing anything wrong. In fact, you're doing everything right.
Writing is a lifelong skill — it's not something you can learn once and then check off your list. It’s a muscle that will only get stronger if you continue to train and flex it. 💪

Important reminder for all authors 🔔
Every book you love began as a rough draft.
Picture your favorite book: that beautiful, polished masterpiece. That is NOT how the story began.
It began as some text on a page, just like what you have right now.

The best way to improve your writing is also totally free:
Read.
If you’re serious about writing, reading isn’t optional — it’s essential.
But don't just read for fun. Learn to read like a writer by studying the mechanics under the hood.
Here's how to learn about writing from everything you read:

If you’re...
-hating every word of your draft
-worried revisions are making it worse, not better
-staring at your feedback frozen and ready to scream
Here’s a fix. It's surprisingly simple, scientifically proven, and something you can do right NOW. Seriously.
