The cheapest I've seen the hardcopy of my book, From Adam and Israel to the Church.
🔴 Recounts my journey out of dispensationalism.
🔴 Attempts to organize the people of God around the "image of God" motif.
🔴 Relates inaugurated eschatology to God's people.
🔴 Final chapter concerns the covenant community in the eternal state.

The people of God begin in Eden and continue into the new heavens and earth. One God, one people.
Much of the debate surrounds what the term "Israel" means. I'm convinced that the term primarily refers to one's status before God and secondarily to one's relationship to Abraham.
I trace the people of God through the language of "image." You can read that TGC essay here:

I wrote a book on the subject, From Adam and Israel, in case you want something more substantive
I have a whole chapter on "Israel, the Gentiles, and Isaiah's Servant" in my Manger to the Throne volume.
See also my long discussion of the "mystery" of the Jews/Gentiles in Eph 3 in Hidden But Now Revealed.

The canonical Gospels are sourced in eye-witness testimony and were written within living memory of the events they describe.
Inconspicuous indicators of eyewitnesses reveal what is happening behind the scenes more than front-and-center observations.

“The name ‘Israel’ from the beginning [Gen 32] symbolizes a personal relation of reconciliation with God. The rest of Holy Scripture never loses sight of this sacred root of the name.”

Is Simon Gathercole one of the most underappreciated scholars at present? His work is simply incredible. 👨🏻🏫

Neither Jesus nor the church replaces Israel. Jesus is true Israel, who fulfills every OT promise (explicit and implicit). NT Believers, gentiles and Jews, likewise participate in fulfilling those same OT promises.
Jesus and the church don’t replace Israel—they continue and are the climax of the covenant community that started in the garden and continues into the new heavens and earth.
I wrote a whole book on this, in case you are interested.
Replying to @DrGladd
What is your response to someone like Seth Postell who argues via narrative analogy and rules of allusion, Jesus is a greater Israel and not true (e.g. “replacement” for the haters) Israel? Just finished his latest book and thought all but that conclusion was fantastic.

If you are a Mac user, you need to check out the Mole app. I've been using this for the last few months. I use it to keep my Macs running well, deleting apps, and finding more hard drive space. 💻
Typically, an app like this costs about $50 per year. This is $19 for life!
