Jeremy Grantham tracked EVERY market Bubble that met his definition: 26 of 26 fell all the way back to trend. He says this one is next - and the drop is "closer to a 70% decline than a 50% decline" "They lost their shirts in the railroad. Brilliant idea. They lost their shirts in the internet... and they will lose their shirts in the AI" The GMO co-founder told CNBC why "the most expensive market in American history" ends the same way: > 26 Out Of 26 (0:46): - He defines a bubble as a two-sigma event and tracked every one that qualified. "There were 26 of them, and 26 broke all the way back to the pre-existing trend." > The 70% Call (3:01): - When? "Sometime between two weeks ago, two weeks from now, two months, two quarters, and conceivably two years." In 2000 his letters set a 75% decline for the Nasdaq - "and it went down 82%." > The 2010s Question (4:15): - Pressed on the 2010-2026 bull run, he points to his 2009 note "Reinvesting When Terrified" - and says the PE since 2010 has averaged "over 60% higher" than the prior hundred years. > Railroads, Internet, AI (5:38): - Every great invention came with "over-investment and temporary collapse." Amazon rose 6x, fell 92% in 2000 - "and then inherited the earth." > Nobody Agrees (7:50): - The disagreement is "more profound than I've seen in... anything in the stock market ever, really." We're either "sitting on the beach getting served mint juleps by machines, or they're going to kill us accidentally or on purpose." He also wrote a book called "The Making of a Permabear" I ran his record through the one test most people never apply to a CRASH CALL ↓

So you went to university into a field where there’s no jobs and now you want govt to steal from taxpayers to fund your ideas ? govt is good at pointing to jobs it “created” but they never take responsibility for the other more productive Efficient jobs that never got created because think their geniuses and know where in the economy money should be allocated. If they were so good at allocating capital and building businesses why are they in govt ? Why aren’t they billionaires in the private sector like jeff bezos.
🐄💩🌎🔥 : Malaika Collette wants the Carney government to spend $1 billion, on a youth climate corps. 🤑 Climate activism is actually about paying unremarkable youth huge sums of money, to grift off climate change indefinitely. 🇵🇸 As we all saw with Greta Thunberg, it doesn't take these activists long to shroud themselves in every woke cause, they can latch onto.

If this is what the “university educated” mentality is like graduating here in Canada we should shut the whole system down. This sounds like indoctrination not education
🏫🌩️🌧️🤷‍♀️ : Shana Quesnel says the quite part out loud. She went to University & now is struggling because she took courses that gave her no in demand job skills. 🤡 Shana wants pipe fitters, miners, truckers & factory workers to pay taxpayer funded salaries for her & her friends, so a new $1 billion Youth Climate Corps can tell those hard working taxpayers, they're destroying the planet. 🪧 This is what happens when youth go to Universities, not for career training, but for activism indoctrination. 🏪 Shana is desperate because things aren't working out the way she hoped they would & is forced to work 2 part time jobs.

AI credit is cracking. Bonds aren’t helping. AMZN CDS +5bp, +8.5bp in two days. Hyperscaler spreads +7bp. Correlation +35%. VVIX 108. Tail hedges bid. The 2y is higher on the day. Sticky inflation is keeping the Fed put out of reach, and Treasuries aren’t working as a hedge.

So, basically, 500 million Europeans expect 300 million Americans to protect them from 120 million Russians who can’t even defeat 40 million Ukrainians while those 500 million Europeans don’t even realize they are being conquered by 2 billion Muslims who claim they are being persecuted by 8 million Israelis. Is that about right? 1

Great for mining and exploration companies like @GoliathResource … permits in months not years. $got.v $gotrf is setup beautifully in the coming years

when the publically richest man on earth says debt markets are being shut off tells you high interest rates and high oil prices mean a recession is likely coming soon !
Replying to @chamath
Pretty much. As of the past few weeks, debt markets have almost entirely shut off access to money for any company that doesn’t have substantial revenue independent of AI data centers. SpaceX closed $40B of debt for GPUs, but we’re investment grade and have Starlink & launch revenue. That means the 200+ neoclouds are going to see guppy-level death and consolidation. Some will make it through, but not many.

Perfect timing for them to make 'gold' in a lab. when demand is huge and getting bigger a narrative comes out that oh no gold is "gonna crash"
Soooooo - Gold was fucked after all? By the way these reports of Gold being synthetically created (molecularly similar like what lab grown diamonds are) will destroy any arguments around scarcity. I’m not anti-gold. I’m anti stupid fucking narratives.

So here's the deal - the BoC has been up to some things you should probably be aware of 👀 You may want to revisit The Big Short...and pay off your mortgage...and maybe consider liquidating your PF... 🤔🤷‍♀️ #YouWillOwnNothing /important thread - 1 of 8
🚨 They Planned the 2020 Lockdowns to Secretly Bail Out the Banks With $6 Trillion Without Hyperinflation They didn’t lockdown the world because of a virus. They locked you down because the entire banking system was already on the brink of collapse. In September 2019 the REPO market exploded. Overnight lending rates spiked. Corporate loans and derivatives were quietly failing. There was no cash left in the repo market and in the system even through banks had Treasuries as collateral. The Federal Reserve was staring at a full-blown liquidity crisis that could have taken down major banks. Then, just weeks later, a “once-in-a-century” virus conveniently appears. By early 2020 the Fed starts pulling hundreds of billions out of the REPO market… right as the first cases hit U.S. soil. They shut down the entire economy. Why? Because if people stop spending, stop borrowing, and stop circulating money, the system can suddenly print $6 TRILLION and dump it straight into the banks without causing immediate hyperinflation. The lockdowns were a financial operation. While you were terrified of a virus and watching your business die, the biggest bailout in history was being executed behind closed doors. The timing wasn’t coincidence. The scale wasn’t accident. The narrative wasn’t organic. They needed you scared, isolated, and offline so they could quietly rescue the system that was already breaking in 2019. This wasn’t chaos. This was the plan. The famous City Of London banker @LordBelgrave already warned about how central banks, IMF and BIS have been planning the new monetary order. Oil shock? AI crisis? Cyberattacks? They’re already preparing for the next one.

Sir, in tough times, real people, using their own money, reduce expenditure. Might you consider emulating your constituents, or do you know Better?
In tough times, British Columbians look after each other. That's why we're asking people who have a little bit more to give a little bit more, so seniors and families get the care they need, when they need it. That's how we build B.C. strong, together.

@BambroughKevin spnews.com/manchester-manufa… HydroGraph may have just contributed to a new miracle material. HydroGraph made a breakthrough in sustainable packaging research over a year ago and this GEIC article says they have been testing for a year with no named manufacturer.
