That’s how it should be done! In some Asian countries shelters are located in food stores like 7-Eleven. It makes sense as they have all the food supplies you’d need…. Some ingenuity goes a very long way. I wonder how many of our underground car parks are bomb proof…?

In a recent conversation we talked about how killing FCAS and MGCS might be better now than under different governments in 🇫🇷 and 🇩🇪 that may seek to make wider points about European defence cooperation. Still, a huge waste of time this dalliance, this dance… leading to nothing.

🇸🇪 Swedes spend night in bunker to prepare for air raids
Descending into a concrete bunker in western Sweden, a group of almost 40 volunteers take part in the country’s first overnight air raid shelter exercise.
“No one wants to share intel with one another… in Europe, there are just too many leaks”. This is the usual refrain at conferences in Brussels whenever anyone asks why we cannot have a more federal approach to intelligence at the EU level.
