The hatred of older generations is largely rooted in envy. That envy is rooted in a perception that older generations generally are better off, not because of hard work, but instead because things were handed to them. It is also rooted in a false perception that all members of older generations are loaded with multiple houses, taking vacations all the time, and “stiffing” the younger generations.
Pay attention to the last part of the quote in the photo, as you will hear many people opine on how they can’t get ahead because of “Boomers.” They are envious and also surrendering their own agency when they treat another generation’s prosperity as an impediment to their own excellence.
Make your own way. Do not be envious. Do not fall into the Marxist trap of generational warfare.
