Always open mail that was sent first class. I’ve received multiple checks this last year that were a rebate for Something. (Mainly insurance / mortgage related)
If it’s important, they legally have to send it to you first class.

It’s not that houses are incredibly expensive.
It’s that our income is worth less every single day.
Few people understand this.
Your boss gives you a 2% raise and expects gratitude. Meanwhile, your rent, groceries, insurance, and everything else keep climbing.
If your paycheck grows slower than your cost of living, you didn’t get a raise. You just got a smaller pay cut with better marketing.
Her: What’s the best concert you’ve ever been to?
Me: Barry Manilow
Her: what, why?
Me: it’s the closest I’ve ever heard live music sound like the CD.
Me: I got 10 free tickets free through work and I took all my aunts and uncles because I could.
Her: wow…
That’s memory I never want to forget.
If @Grok were a juror on the Lindsay Clancy trial he would vote guilty. Not sure what the jurors are having a hard time with…

Interesting story I learned today about Islam why they dislike dogs.
At night Muhammed would wait for the Angel Gabriel to visit him. The 1 night, the Angel didn't show, he heard a dog bark. So he assumed it was the dogs fault.
Later when he met the Angel, the Angel told him that he doesn't enter a home with a dog. So Muhammed ordered all the dogs killed.
The reason is, dogs can sense demons and the demon was impersonating the Angel Gabriel.
There's your Islam story of the day.
Today’s lesson learned the hard way:
Don’t weld something with your shirt off no matter how hot your garage is. Turns out that the welding arc is so bright that it can actually cause sunburn while welding indoors. Who knew…?
(No, I’m not a trained welder. I just bought one and figured I’d teach myself the hard way… lesson learned on the PPE.)
Gentlemen: if you could go back in time and change the girl you lost your virginity to, would you make a change?

I used to sell whole life insurance and this is 100% correct. It’s why I left the industry. I felt like I was lying through every sale.
A whole life insurance policy for a healthy 30 year old costs $440 a month.
A term life policy with the exact same $500,000 coverage costs $21 a month.
That's a $419 difference every month.
If you bought the term policy and invested that $419 difference into an S&P 500 index fund from age 30 to 65, you'd have over $1.6 million sitting in your account.
And your family is still fully covered the entire time.
Whole life insurance is a scam.
I live in MN. I would love if the Lake Minnetonka area seceded from Minneapolis. (Hennepin county)
The ice on the lake I live on went out yesterday and I was the first on the lake to get their dock in.
I run a side hustle dock and lift business and have about 70+ left to do between now and May 15th.
If this was a clients dock the bill would have been $600 for 2.5 hrs work.
