Today Israel votes for the 26th Knesset. Our neighbors have spent a century going from sultan to king to colonel to dynasty & tyrannical theocracy. Here, power changes hands at the ballot box, built mainly by the descendants of Jews who never lived under democracy anywhere. The only real democracy in the Middle East. A miracle hiding in plain sight. 🇮🇱🗳️

Watch Democrat Van Jones on CNN blast the ad for Abdul El-Sayed that echos El-Sayed's words that argues that Americans have to set grocery money "aside for killing Palestinians" because of U.S. aid to Israel. Jones: "This is an example of anti-Jewish hate, and it should be taken down immediately. And denounce, and by the way, Abdul should denounce this ad immediately." @ScottJenningsKY adds: "It's economic incoherence wrapped up in anti-Semitism. So it's sort of par for the course. I mean, El-Sayed himself in this campaign has argued we can't have good education in this country because we fund the Iron Dome, which is completely wrong, nuts, economic incoherence. By the way, eggs, like $2.70 a carton, bananas, 40 or 50 cents a pound. It's economic incoherence. It's a lie, but it's all done in service to anti-Semitism. And at the same time, El-Sayed's campaign running ads featuring comments from Tucker Carlson. What is a Jewish Democrat in Michigan supposed to think right now? Why would El-Sayed have to answer these questions? It's a mystery."

Ana Kasparian Asked for a “Substantive Argument.” @Amy_Siskind is a Jewish Democrat who, despite her party’s rapid move towards DSA antisemitism, apparently still wants @AbdulElSayed to be a US Senator. She watched the new ad from @CenkUygur's Rebellion PAC, which tells voters the only Jewish state is why their eggs and bananas cost more and why they don't have universal health care, and said what any Jew that understands our history could see: it's disgusting, blatant antisemitism. The response from @AnaKasparian was “make a substantive argument or shut up,” plus the claim that Washington is “picking our pockets to fight Israel's wars and everyone knows it.” That's how Ana always answers Jews who raise antisemitism. If a Black woman called an ad racist, or a Muslim called a cartoon Islamophobic, then Ana would likely listen. A Jew says it and she tells her to “shut up.” Not a moment spent wondering how an ad blaming the Jewish state for your grocery bill might land with Jews. When a Jew from your own party calls your partner's ad blatantly antisemitic and your reflex is “shut up,” you're too far down the well to see daylight. “Everyone knows it” is what people say when they don't have the facts or the figures. So here they are. The groceries. Eggs averaged $2.27 a dozen in September, down 64 percent from the $6.23 peak in March 2025. Bird flu killed the flocks, the flocks came back, prices fell. Bananas are cheaper than a year ago and up one penny since May. Americans spend more than $5 trillion a year on health care. Cancel every dollar of military aid to Israel and you'd cover less than seven hours of it. Cenk tried to run this con in 2023 too, with a couple putting eggs back so they could save $7 for “killing Palestinians.” Same groceries, same villain, the oldest antisemitic cartoon there is: the Jew with his hand in your grocery bag. The “robbery.” $3.8 billion a year, about 1/20th of 1% of a $7 trillion federal budget. Around $11 per American, spent on American weapons from American factories. Israel is ending it anyway: Netanyahu wants it gone within a decade, and talks to replace the MOU opened June 5. Egypt has taken $1.3 billion a year in aid for decades. TYT never blames Cairo for bananas. Some of what America gets: •In 2017 Israel exposed the ISIS plot to hide bombs in laptop batteries on airliners. In 2018 it stopped a plan to blow up an Etihad jet out of Sydney. •Copaxone for MS came out of the Weizmann Institute, Azilect for Parkinson's from the Technion, Exelon for Alzheimer's from Hebrew University. •The Israeli bandage, carried by American soldiers, cops and EMTs, has kept people from bleeding to death. •An Israeli company built the biggest desalination plant in the Western Hemisphere, in Carlsbad, California. Israeli drip irrigation feeds drought-stricken farms worldwide. •When the Surfside condo collapsed in 2021, Israeli rescuers flew in to dig through the rubble beside American crews. •Israel's 2021 vaccine rollout gave the world its first real-world proof the COVID shot worked. •Mobileye's crash-avoidance tech, invented in Jerusalem, is in millions of American cars. Not one American soldier required. Name another $3.8 billion line item that buys all that and so much more. None of this is new. Lindbergh blamed the Jews for dragging America to war in 1941. Apparently inspired by David Duke - Uygur said this February that 94% of Congress “works for Israel.” Later that month, channeling her favorite neo-Nazi, Ana posted “the goyim are waking the f**k up.” Ana demanded a substantive argument and answered a Jew with a trite slogan. Military aid to Israel will end because Israel has asked for it to end. The antisemitic libels, like falsely blaming the one Jewish state for U.S. egg prices or implying that Americans don’t have healthcare because of Israel likely won't end, because it's what gets @cenkuygur and @AnaKasparian clicks and views.
Make a substantive argument or shut up. The government is picking our pockets to fight Israel’s wars and everyone knows it. If you’re able to repudiate this, then go ahead. Otherwise the emotional manipulation and smears roll off our backs. The robbery needs to end.

Israel-obsessed @cenkuygur & his “Rebellion PAC” made an ad telling Michigan families they can't afford eggs, bananas or a doctor because of aid to Israel, and that Israel “buys” politicians like Mike Rogers. Uygur claims anyone who calls that propaganda - antisemitic - is “in a cult.” And to “state the obvious” @mehdirhasan has stepped in to defend this disgusting ad. Former U.S. ambassador to Israel @DanielBShapiro stated the obvious: you can oppose aid to Israel without pretending Israel is responsible for Americans' grocery bills. Hasan's reply was to insist that it is. As with every claim Hasan or Uygur make about Israel, this doesn’t stand up to historical or factual scrutiny. A dozen eggs cost $6.23 in March 2025, a year before the Iran war. In September they cost $2.27. Bananas averaged 64.7 cents a pound last year and 65.6 cents last month. That's a penny. Hasan is defending an ad that blames the Jewish state for a penny more on bananas and for eggs that got cheaper. And despite Mehdi’s misdirection the ad never argued that “the Iran war raised gas prices.” It argued that Americans go without food and health care because of aid to Israel, and that Israel buys American senators. Hasan is defending an ad Uygur didn't make, because the one Uygur did make is truly vile and can't credibly be defended. Then Hasan goes further: “there would obviously be no Iran war without Israel.” Iran has been at war with America for over 47 years. It held 52 Americans hostage for 444 days. Its proxy Hezbollah killed 241 U.S. servicemen in Beirut. The Pentagon attributes more than 600 American troop deaths in Iraq to Iran. Iran doesn't need Israel to be America's enemy. Its leaders have chanted “Death to America” and called the USA the “Great Satan” routinely without reference to Israel. Of course, @SecRubio didn't “admit” what Hasan claims either. He said the timing was shaped by Israel's plans, then said plainly: “this had to happen anyway, the president made a decision.” The claim that Jews push America into wars it wouldn't otherwise fight is very old. Charles Lindbergh made it in Des Moines in 1941. It has been the antisemitic right's favorite line for decades, and now the far left routinely repeats it too. Hasan and Uygur are entitled to oppose the Iran war and aid to Israel. But when one argues that Israel empties your shopping cart and is why you don’t have free health care, and the other says American presidents fight Iran only because Israel makes them, they're reviving the same accusations Lindbergh and his cohorts made. From the same ugly place. Shapiro stated the obvious. Hasan proved his point, and Uygur paid to put this ugliness on television.
Just to state the obvious, the Iran war raised gas and diesel prices, & grocery prices, including banana prices, & it's not antisemitic to point that fact out or that there would obviously be no Iran war without Israel's involvement, & campaign for it (as even Rubio admitted).

Nice try @cenkuygur - but no one is claiming Americans have to fund Israel or be called antisemites. That's the straw man you need, because you can't defend the ad you actually made. Your ad tells Michigan families they can't afford eggs, bananas or a doctor because of the Jewish state. The idea that Americans go without health care because of Israel has been repeated for years by both the far left and the neo-Nazi right. It's crazy, and simple arithmetic shows it. Americans spent $5.3 trillion on health care in 2024. Israel's aid is $3.8 billion a year. American health care spends that much in about six hours. If the aid ended tomorrow, not one American would gain a single day of coverage. And none of the military aid could have gone to Israeli health care. Nearly all of it must be spent with American defense manufacturers, and Israelis pay for their own health system through their own health tax, on top of income tax. Then there's the double standard. The United States gives away tens of billions of dollars in foreign aid every year, and Israel's share was about 7% of it last year. America also keeps roughly 55,000 troops in Japan, 28,500 in South Korea and about 35,000 in Germany, paying billions to defend wealthy democracies that have universal health care of their own. Yet, nobody makes ads saying Tokyo, Seoul or Berlin stole your doctor. Only one country gets blamed for what's in or not in your shopping cart. Israel also gives back more to the USA than almost any ally. Its intelligence has stopped terror plots aimed at Americans. The Israeli-invented emergency bandage became standard issue in the U.S. military and has saved American soldiers' lives. This alliance is worth far more than $3.8 billion a year to America. So the question isn't why your critics call the ad antisemitic. The question is why, out of every dollar America spends abroad, you chose to blame Americans' grocery bills and doctor bills on the only Jewish state. Meanwhile, you’re raising money to run it more often so it will “drive the radical Zionists crazy,” when Jews across the political spectrum recognize the antisemitic lineage of your propaganda. The sick thing here is the ad, and you made it.
If you think this ad is antisemitic, you’re in a cult and don’t know it. You think Israel is owed all the money it wants from US and if Americans don’t hand it over - without complaint - they’re antisemites. That’s insane, but you don’t realize it because you’ve lost your mind.

*Venice recently gave a prize to the Guardian's NAZA.* It asks how Israel decided whether to strike. It never asks who chose where the targets would be. Here's the answer, from "NAZA: The Real Story." Beside a UNRWA-funded playground flying a Hamas flag, sacks of UN-stamped rice and flour were stacked into a fighting position. Next door, a kindergarten held weapons and a tunnel shaft. Two gunmen came out of that shaft with an RPG and wounded five IDF soldiers. Israel was accused of starving Gaza. The food was there. Hamas used it for cover. Sinwar's command center sat under the ER of the European Hospital in Khan Yunis. Six hostages were executed in a tunnel whose shaft opened into a child's bedroom painted with Snow White and Mickey Mouse. Collateral damage requires collateral. Hamas put it there by design. @guardian filmed the result and called it an Israeli crime. Venice gave Leni Riefenstahl's "Olympia" its top prize in 1938. History doesn't always repeat @la_Biennale - but it often rhymes.

Obama went to Belfast to lecture Israel about peace. Belfast is the one city on earth that learned, in blood, that a peace deal means nothing while terrorists keep their guns. The 1998 Good Friday Agreement stalled for years because the IRA, responsible for nearly half the ~3,600 deaths of the Troubles, refused to disarm. Peace took hold only after monitors confirmed in 2005 that its weapons were gone. Hamas has vowed to repeat October 7 "again and again." It won't give up a single rifle. The Irish analogy runs the other way. Jews are to the land of Israel what the Irish are to Ireland. The IRA wanted its conquerors gone. Hamas wants Jews gone from Judea. Queen's gave @BarackObama the degree. Belfast offered him the lesson. He failed it. See 👇

Translation: “Unless my fellow Jew-haters crowdfund my obsessive hatred for the world's only Jewish state, I may be forced to do something truly terrifying: work for a living. I might even have to go back to college and learn a marketable skill. Hopefully nothing with actual history in it. I can't afford a semester on antisemitism in Arab-conquered lands, the 1941 Farhud, the 1947 partition vote or nearly 1 million Jews expelled from Morocco to Iraq. That cognitive dissonance alone would cost me 3.7 million followers. Please subscribe. My grievance doesn't monetize itself."
TikTok just permanently banned my verified page for my advocacy for people with 3.7M followers. I am blacklisted from using Meta. I am demonetized on YouTube. I lost my college education, career, and now my platforms. Don’t know what to do right now. If you can support my voice/work please get a subscription to my publication yourfavoriteguy.com if we cannot rally enough support I fear I’ll have no choice but to pause my advocacy while I figure out how to get stable again.

2025: The IPC declares famine. By its own definition, that means - in less than 3 months - at least 9,000 deaths. Gaza's Hamas-run Health Ministry counted fewer than 200 to date. It also recorded 50,227 births and nonviolent deaths roughly at prewar levels.

Did you know @cenkuygur is dishonest every time he talks about Israel? Here's today's example: Did you know Einstein toured America with Chaim Weizmann in 1921 raising money for the Zionist movement? Did you know he helped found Hebrew University, gave its first scientific lecture and left it the literary rights to his writings? Did you know Israel offered him its presidency in 1952? He declined, citing his lack of experience in official duties, and called his relationship to the Jewish people "my strongest human bond." Did you know he died in April 1955, days before he was set to deliver a speech on ABC, NBC and CBS for Israel's seventh Independence Day? A speech that called Arab hostility “the root cause of the tension.” Yes, before 1948 Einstein had doubts about statehood. Cenk stopped reading there. “What would Einstein know?” Ben-Gurion asked him to be Israel's head of state. Einstein got it right. Cenk got caught. Again.

One night in Tokyo, March 9, 1945: 80,000 to 100,000 dead. Two years of war in Gaza, by Hamas's own count, fighters included: about 70,000. America isn't called genocidal for Tokyo. Israel is, daily. The difference isn't the facts. My latest w/ @JNS_org jns.org/opinion/micha-danzig…
