Explainable AI methods help us understand what machine learning black boxes do. But what can we say about the quality of the explanation methods? Survey: dl.acm.org/doi/10.1145/35835… Interactive Website: utwente-dmb.github.io/xai-pa… #xai #evaluation

The rising popularity of explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) to understand high-performing black boxes raised the question of how to evaluate explanations of machine learning (ML) models. While...

My PhD candidate Meike Nauta will present her ProtoTree approach at #CVPR2021. IMO a revolutionary approach with great potential for the adoption of AI. It can intrinsically explain its reasoning while fully harnessing the power of deep learning @UTwente dlvr.it/S1qPLs
