Why did the legislature remove protections for public pensions if they didn't have plans to tax those pensions? Tell them you've had enough of their broken promises and taxes. Vote YES on I-645!

So they just had to stop the Packers/Panthers game because a drone was over and inside Lambeau Field.
They pulled the players off the field.
I'm guessing the reactions from my follower base will fall into one of two categories:
1. "Yes, and?"
2. "OMG!!! It's happening😬"

1) Capital flight is a myth.
2) Ok, some really rich people we don't like anyway might be leaving.
3) All right, lots of people ARE leaving, but look at how affordable the housing market got!
4) Cool. Now we're...Detroit!
5) Bob, Jamie, and Manka, take a bow.
A massive supply pile-up is happening in Seattle's housing market right now.
Listings just broke 13,000 across the metro.
And spiked 173% over the last 3 years.
Supply is now at a 15-year high, and continues to climb, with many local sellers in panic mode.
Microsoft just offered buy-outs to 60,000 workers, which could lead to an even bigger selloff.
Demand is already down 50% from peak, and near the lowest levels since the end of the last crash.
Indicating that Seattle's housing market is coming periously close to a major correction. Values are already down YoY, and could drop substantially in 2027.

UPDATE: I was able to ask @secstatewa about the claims of noncitizens on Washington voter rolls. He insists it’s not a widespread issue but also admits the state has no mechanism for checking voter registration against citizenship.

NEW: @secstatewa says the DOJ's claims that there are hundreds on noncitizens on Washington voter rolls are "greatly exaggerated or false."
His office is denying a request by @WDWAnews and @USAO_EDWA to sequester ballots. STORY: komonews.com/news/local/wash… @komonews

Senator Whitehouse Reveals Dems’ All-Day Eric Holder War Game Scenario!
We have "adequate resources already in place and pleadings prepared in advance..."
During a recent appearance on the KrassenCast podcast, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse said he is worried about what he called a new and strange development in American politics that President Trump and his far-right backers have introduced.
The Senator described the situation as alarming because it did not previously exist.
Whitehouse added that he still believes things will be okay for a couple of reasons, starting with the fact that Democrats are better prepared than he has ever seen for election-related mischief.
The Senator specifically noted that Democratic senators held an all-day war game in which they walked through the various ways such mischief could be carried out.
Whitehouse further described a large apparatus of litigation groups and volunteers ready to respond no matter what happens or how it happens, with adequate resources already in place and pleadings prepared in advance so that they would not be caught unprepared.
The Senator closed by saying it is a shame they have to get ready for a president who wants to upend the American election process if his side does not win.
My previous reporting has disclosed Senate Democrats, under Chuck Schumer, conducting tabletop or “war game” exercises on potential election-disruption scenarios, with participants including former Attorney General Eric Holder.
These closed door sessions focused on responses to hypothesized actions involving ballot seizures, agents at polling places, deepfakes, and similar issues.
Former Attorney General Eric Holder noted that while this falls into the outer reaches of potential threats, they have thought about and prepared to litigate and figure out ways in which they can push back on such an action.
Holder further clarified that using such powers in peacetime during an election would be unprecedented, stating that really is using powers there that have never been used before in peacetime and with regard to an electoral setting.
These coordinated legal and public messaging efforts around election administration lawsuits are intended to capture public opinion, mobilize radicals, cripple the federal government’s capacity to react, and destabilize the country.
These coordinated war games and tabletop exercises reveal the lengths to which certain political actors are prepared to go in order to challenge legitimate presidential authority during an election.
This is why voters must choose common sense candidates in this midterm cycle. The modern Jacobins are out for blood, and only a decisive choice at the ballot box can save our republic.

The public unions appear to be straight up flaunting WA election rules.
Google and Meta both ban Washington election ads. (Thank you Bob Ferguson) Their PAC, Beware the Attack on Our Courts, bought $58,000 worth on Google anyway. Google yanked them Monday. Meta rejected them Wednesday.
Meanwhile the PDC suspended the contribution cap in the final hour, and SEIU 775 dropped another $250,000 into that same PAC.
The SEIU moto seems to be something like
“Cheaters never win, unless they cheat enough”

I put in more work to reverse engineer those 7 steps of a color revolution for UNELECTED, possibly more research than any other part of the book.
The language they use to sidestep accountability and frame it all as organic is so obnoxious, plus they silo themselves into factions, so there's no one universal "how to do a color revolution" manual ... nonviolent resistance, yes, but no end-to-end regime change how-to.

Resistance Labs Color Revolution Training: Is Jayapal Tied to the Coup?
Resistance Labs initiative, Erica Chenoweth 3.5 Rule Curriculum, a training program that has trained over 32,000 people across all 50 states.
Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal appeared on the It’s Open Podcast with Ilana Glazer, a comedian, actor, advocate, and creator appearing on Broadway in a George Clooney adaptation of Good Night and Good Luck.
Jayapal discussed her Resistance Labs initiative, a virtual training program that has trained over 32,000 people across all 50 states on recognizing how authoritarians and dictators operate and how to engage in nonviolent resistance.
The curriculum was developed with experts on democratic backsliding and nonviolent resistance, notably in collaboration with the Nonviolent Action Lab at Harvard’s Kennedy School and Ash Center, where Erica Chenoweth has participated in sessions.
It also draws on Jayapal’s own organizing background and various nonviolent resistance toolkits.
Local hosts and co-organizers for events have included Minnesota DFL state lawmakers such as Katie Jones, Jamie Long, and Scott Dibble, along with New York figures such as Brad Lander, Nydia Velázquez, and the New York Working Families Party.
Jayapal has offered the curriculum to other members of Congress and encourages independent local sessions or house parties. She stated that the MAGA movement makes people on the ground feel overwhelmed and that it is part of their project to make sure people are so overwhelmed that they cannot engage.
She further urged people to refuse to be hopeless because hopelessness and powerlessness are tools of the oppressor, and she encouraged fostering human connections at a personal level with neighbors and family.
It sounds kinda like the people's assemblies the RAD network has been promoting and organizing on the ground.

The Pentagon is treating a rash of freezer malfunctions that affected refrigeration and freezer units at commissaries at several U.S. military bases in August as a suspected cyberattack, according to four officials familiar with the matter who spoke to Reuters. The Pentagon said a Cyber Command unit is “working in close coordination with interagency and law enforcement partners” in the ongoing investigation.
At least six on base commissaries were affected in late August, per Reuters’ review of base social media posts. In at least one case, the cooling units’ temperatures were raised overnight, resulting in spoiled food. Fort Huachuca, Arizona, posted that its freezer “went into defrost mode where it heated up all the food.”
One official said investigators have been in touch with French counterparts about a similar attack that hit more than 350 French supermarkets earlier this month.
