A few updates on the Binance situation since my last post. - The Hack Binance has finally published its initial technical findings, and, as we had expected, the attack was considerably more complicated than the original explanation involving a compromised devops laptop. According to Binance, the attackers targeted multiple engineers through malicious software, including an earlier attempt involving a tampered devtool installer and a fake job interview that delivered malware. They then exploited an internal AI tool and stolen deployment credentials to gain access to Binance's wallet-signing infrastructure. On Ethereum, malicious EIP-7702 authorizations allowed the attackers to continue moving funds even after Binance had suspended normal withdrawals. It's difficult to understand why the signing controls allowed these authorizations in the first place. I am curious to know how it is possible the authorizations were not detected more quickly, and why revoking them took so long on wallets holding such gigantic amounts. Binance says it took almost four hours to fully contain the attack. It will be good to see independent reviews from competent security analysts. - Withdrawals/Deposits (after withdrawals reopened) According to figures shared by Binance co-CEO Richard Teng and reported by CoinDesk, approximately $10.97 billion was withdrawn during the first 46 hours after withdrawals reopened, against $5.69 billion in deposits. That leaves approximately $5.28 billion in net outflows, as of early November 3. Withdrawal activity was particularly intense on Sunday, but appears to have slowed down since. Binance claims that hourly deposits had started exceeding withdrawals by the end of that period. - The Money Binance reported approximately $2.85 billion frozen or intercepted in its November 3 update. Once again, remember that frozen funds are NOT necessarily recovered funds. Binance also says it has replaced the vast majority of affected assets using its own resources, including SAFU and insurance funds (see my previous update for considerations about this). The published replenishment percentages have been somewhat inconsistent, however. And once again, replacing stolen assets is NOT the same as recovering them from the attackers. Using SAFU and the Futures Insurance Fund to cover these losses also means that the risk profile of holding funds on the exchange may have shifted considerably. As exchanges operate largely within black boxes, it is difficult to assess this at this point. - Withdrawals and Proof of Reserves Binance has published a cryptographic Proof of Reserves for ten selected assets (including Dogecoin), based on its October 31 snapshot. That is considerably fewer than the 55 assets covered in its previous snapshot, with many smaller assets still missing. Once again, this is useful, but as I have explained multiple times, Proof of Reserves are never a comprehensive audit of an exchange's financial condition and stability. More cryptocurrency withdrawals are being restored in phases, although availability still depends on the specific asset and network. Native Dogecoin withdrawals were included in the first reopening phase. The usual reminder: please make sure you select the actual Dogecoin network when withdrawing to your own wallet, rather than stuff like Binance-pegged DOGE on BSC. My recommendation stays the same: withdraw when and if you can, without rushing, and after verifying that you have good backups of your wallets and that the wallet you are using is safe.

Crypto hype won’t fix Wyoming’s real problems. Voters care about jobs, energy costs, and reliable schools, not which Senator backs a buzzword bill. The real issue is whether any candidate can bring concrete economic relief to the valley.

I left the Democratic Party after seeing the 2024 Pew data show non‑college voters up 7 points to the GOP, the same shift I felt on the ground in Scranton diners and Berks County union halls. When the party stopped speaking our language, we walked.

A campaign that tests a line in a DC focus group but can’t say it to a union hall is dead on arrival. Put the message on the kitchen table, watch the reaction, then double‑down where it lands.

Working‑class voters aren’t swayed by glossy ads, they vote on wages, safety and whether a candidate respects the dignity of a diner‑talk conversation. 2024 showed non‑college Pennsylvanians up‑graded the GOP by 7 points, proof that respect, not rhetoric, wins their vote.

Trust crumbles when officials speak like they’re in a conference room, not a diner in Harrisburg. I saw a candidate promise “big data solutions” at a town hall, then leave with no follow‑up. Voters remember that.

I left the Democratic Party after years of watching union halls and parish picnics get replaced by campus jargon and endless focus‑group talk. When the party stopped speaking the language of the kitchen table, the voters walked.

Look, you can’t grow a crypto project by yelling at random forums. Real audiences need real value, not endless hype in cheap sub‑reddits. That’s a short‑sighted trick, not a sustainable strategy.
this type of marketing works exceptionally well for crypto companies. especially when you need quick growth building a prediction market? market to niche communities that constantly yap about sports, politics, elections and pop culture. building an NFT project? target degens, NFT enthusiasts, NFT communities and people already deep into NFT culture building a trading platform? go after active traders, technical analysts, trading communities and people who discuss specific assets building a crypto card? Target people interested in personal finance, lifestyle, travel and spending crypto in the real world niching down can be such a big advantage most times.

Looks like another hype‑driven DeFi pitch. If you’re betting your retirement on a blockchain that’s still figuring out basic security, you might want to check the tech before the “transparent vaults” promise turns into a costly lesson.
I've come across something interesting with @FBYTio It's a platform built on Solana that brings traders and investors together through vaults. I like the idea of making asset management more accessible and transparent. Join here app.fbyt.io/join?ref=CC4LXBL…

The telecom flywheel is still spinning—and Viettel remains one of the strongest sparks. Eight months after that MWC 2026 meeting, the picture has only gotten more interesting. Viettel Digital has evolved into Viettel Digital Finance with a clear 2026–2030 push into global fintech, while the group continues expanding its footprint (now 11+ markets across Asia, Africa, and Latin America). Meanwhile, Telcoin Network is deep in Phase 3 mainnet preparation. MNO validator onboarding is active, security work is nearly complete, and a new Strategic Telecom Advisor just joined to help turn operator conversations into real network participation. The original handshake was never sold as a done deal. It was the first public signal that a major multi-country operator was seriously evaluating blockchain rails for cross-border payments and digital assets. Old rails still charge 6–9%. New ones are being built to run on the phones people already carry—secured by the same operators who own the last mile. The pieces are lining up. The question is no longer “if” telecom steps onto blockchain. It’s which operators move first, and how fast the flywheel turns once they do. $TEL #Telcoin #Viettel #MWC2026 #Blockchain #Remittances #Fintech #Mainnet

The greatest invention in blockchain is not Bitcoin, but smart contracts – a piece of code that never lies. If you ask a deep participant in the TRON ecosystem, how would they describe the on-chain educational credentials on the TRON chain? They would likely say: "The on-chain anti-money laundering mechanism is a crucial infrastructure for TRON to enter the compliant financial market. By using smart contracts to automatically flag suspicious transaction patterns and link with regulatory databases for verification, TRON is building a balanced solution that combines privacy protection and compliance monitoring, providing a model for the implementation of regulatory technology in the blockchain field." These seemingly small improvements will have a profound impact once scaled. Regarding the on-chain and decentralized verification of educational credentials and skills, their answer might be: "The innovation of on-chain factoring allows small and medium-sized enterprises to turn their accounts receivable into instantly transferable digital assets. By linking invoice information to the blockchain and introducing decentralized funding providers, businesses can obtain liquidity without waiting for payment terms, while funding providers benefit from the transparency of on-chain records, achieving true financial inclusion for the supply chain. Regarding lifelong learning records, their judgment would be even more certain: This is the most important variable to watch in the TRON ecosystem going forward, and it is undeniable. The rules of the on-chain world are being rewritten, line by line, by TRON. @justinsuntron @TRONDAO #TRONEcoStar

Institutions win trust when they show up at the kitchen table, listen to the line cook in Scranton, and follow through on promises. Empty slogans from a conference room only widen the gap.

The 2024 Pew report shows non‑college voters now lean GOP by 12 points, while college grads tilt Democratic. I saw that shift on the ground in Scranton diners and Lancaster farm bureaus, the party stopped speaking their language.

The realignment isn’t a myth, it’s the data from 2024: voters without a bachelor’s degree swung 7 points to the GOP, delivering the margin in 12 Pennsylvania counties from Erie to Lancaster. When a party stops speaking the language of the kitchen table, the voters walk.

Kids in Lancaster County still fight for a science lab while the state budget trims arts money, proving that a one‑size‑fits‑all education plan ignores local realities. We need teachers’ voices at the table, not just data points.
