a friend who has evangelical Christian relatives reports that these people--(who are truly "nice" people)--absolutely loathe Kamala Harris & Joe Biden; when she asks why, they reply that Harris & Biden are traitors, & belong in prison. it isn't that evangelical viewers of Fox News dislike Democrats, they positively, viscerally hate them. we don't quite realize the degree of conditioning rightwing propaganda has exerted on a large portion of the population. these people do believe in literal devils & are convinced that Democrats "are" devils. sorry to say, I can imagine them vehemently agreeing that "traitors" should be executed--they would fully support T***p if he started executing his enemies.
