Does two things of particular value to me as a writer:
1. Is a record that I created the Portmanteau ‘Disinfolklore.’
2. Correctly categorises ‘Disinformation’ as a particular form of ‘Disinfolklore.’
Thus giving me the whole field (which I’d be too humble to have claimed too loudly) while confining all the work focussing on Disinformation to a local province or region of my field.

Battling Archetypes
It’s appropriate to be speaking about our Disinfolklore Universe at a Pirate Party Munich Security conference event.
Those who founded the Pirate Party get what I am about to speak to you about.
There’s a flow between on the one hand culture, art, films, literature about pirates and geopolitical security.
Those whom we entrust with securing our conditions of civilised life don’t seem to understand this. This is partly why they’re such easy marks for Russian and MAGA Disinfolklore.
They get wrapped up so easily in Russian or MAGA trolls, like flies in a spider's web, it’s very hard for them even to understand they’re trapped inside Old Thinking.
Today I’m going to offer a perspective on what I call our Disinfolklore Universe. And I’m also going to offer a means to escape the troll memes wrap us up inside when we fall for MAGA or Russian Disinfolklore.
None of this is easy. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t have all the answers.
Whenever you hear anyone talk about Disinformation or Disinfolklore as if it happens to other people. As if only stupid people fall for trolls. Whenever you hear chatter like that, be certain those people are easy marks for trolls. For MAGA and Russian Disinfolklore.
Today we live in a true Disinfolklore Universe.
The fabric of every dimension of our lives - work, personal relationships, life choices, fates - is infused with aspects of Druidey Don and Duncey Putin’s memetic onslaught.
Our Moods/Motivations/Intentions/Attitudes are being formed by what I call ‘Disinfolklore.’
Directly – through whichever media memes we consume.
Or indirectly, through our own minds and those of others, influencing us from archetypes created and evolving from Disinfolklore.

Normally, Duncey Putin needs an attentive listener to fill their mind with Russia’s hypnotic nonsense.
But Duncey Putin had developed a special ‘Carouseling’ hypnotic product for Berlusconi, which also works on Donald’s addled mind.

Skyscraper 2: Donald thinks he can force Ukraine to capitulate. He can’t.
Prediction: Ukraine and Russia spend two years in the Vatican arguing over the shape of the negotiating table. Meanwhile Russia collapses.

⚡️Folktale Ballroom: Mad Don’s Installation
The ballroom is a folkloric motif before it is an architectural one.
Three of its inflections are doing the work here.
The king's hall.
Heorot. The mead-hall. The aula regia.
The room in which the lord feasts retainers, distributes gold, and binds them to him by gift.
Trump's gilded Oval, his Gold Card with his own face engraved on it, his Mar-a-Lago Rococo mirrors, and now his East Wing ballroom, are all operating in the same gift-economy of sovereign favour, in the same idiom of polished gold.
The mead-hall is the room in which the king becomes the king.
Versailles.
To quote Louis XIV in 2026 is to quote the court the American Revolution was founded against.
The reference is not generic luxury. It is the particular memory of a court that danced while the country starved.
The citation is being made — knowingly or not — by an administration whose Project-2025 instrumentation is producing precisely that disequilibrium.
The Cinderella ballroom.
The room in which status is conferred and withheld.
The room in which the prince chooses.
The room in which the door closes at midnight on those whose invitation has expired.
A presidential ballroom is, by its nature, a guest list.
Republican space is, by its nature, not.
Read by the Law of Similarity, the gold-leaf, the crystal and the rococo mirroring produce similarity-by-association with the archetype of monarchical sovereignty.
The eye reads the hall and the unconscious reads the king.
Read alongside the "LONG LIVE THE KING" Truth Social post, the AI-generated crown portraits, the Mar-a-Lago Oval, the Gold Card and the June-2025 military parade, the ballroom is not an ornament.
It is the missing room in a coherent set.
The set's archetypal payload is gilded monarchy.
Adjudicated against the Code of Positive Trolls, the ballroom fails Generosity — it is exclusionary by definition.
It fails Right — it inverts the meaning of the building it is bolted onto.
It fails Patience — the gold is loud and it is in a hurry.

⚡️War Magic, NATO, and Germany / US Falls For The Troll.
War Magic is an ancient term for hypnotising an enemy into defeat using rhetoric.
Threatening nuclear war is a mere threat.
A threat is War Magic 🪄, or a manifestation Disinfolklore - it's meant to deter.
Muscovy’s War Magic doctrine is called “Cross Domain Coercion.”
The idea is to get inside your enemy's head - say, Germany. Or, by carrying an Ikea shark around Vilnius.
Then you persuade Germany that the sky will fall in if Germany agrees to let Ukraine (Germany and Austria murdered millions of Ukrainians between 1941 and 1945) into NATO.
Germany falls for the troll.

Russian war magic achieves its aims, simply through War Magical means🪄.
War Magic also works both ways - it's reflexive.
President Magi Zelenskyy's powers are much stronger than Chief Sorcerer Putin's or the Chef Saucerer whose Wanger Nazi forces Ukraine ran out of Ukraine and tricked into an ongoing coup in Muscovy.

Plan A: War Magic scares president 3e! from Kyiv.
Russian patsies in Ukraine usurp power, sign treaty with Russia.
By 1st March 2022, Russia occupying Ukraine as "invited peacekeepers."
Insurgent war.
Germany and France: business as usual with Russia.
How Plan A turned out: Russian patsies in Ukraine saw after 24 hours Russian military was hopeless and that Ukraine would win.
President 3e! didn't flee: "I need ammo. Not a ride."
Plan B: Kill President 3e! Chef's Wanger Nazi assassins given this plum job. Exploit chaos to impose Russian patsies. Invite Russian peacekeepers in.
Result: Large numbers of Wanger Nazi elite assassins liquidated (RIP).
Plan C: Take Kyiv and region. Hold it hostage until Ukraine govt and state dissolves. Wanger Nazi assassination squads execute kill lists. Bucha, Irpin, etc.
Result: Defeated militarily by 29th March. Russia declares Phase 1 "complete" (🙄). Worldwide disgust from Bucha, Irpin, etc massacres provokes world into arming Ukraine properly.
Plan D: Phase 2 is to occupy all of Luhansk and Donetsk.
Result: Still uncompleted despite loss of 100,000 Ruschist soldiers. Prognosis? No hope Russia will ever occupy Luhansk and Donetsk.
Plan E: Occupy ALL of Southern Ukraine (Mariupol --> Odesa / Bessarabia / Danube).
Result: Azov delayed Wanger and Ruschist Nazis so long in Mariupol, no hope. Lost Kherson in September.
Conquer all of Donetsk (Plan F (by end of March 2022) --->Plan Z (by May 9th, 2023). Bakhmut was selected because it was thought to be "attainable." A victory could be declared.
Mainstreamed through Plan A --> Z is the overarching plan of starving, freezing, coercing Europe into begging Ukraine to accept occupation of their people, land, and State.
Note that Russia assumed EVERY one of these plans would easily work.
As did "Russia Understanders" in ALL governments, think tanks, and among tankies: except in Central Europe.
Wanger Nazi Chef was given the leading role in execution of all these Plans (except Plan E). Chef got a monopoly on all the juicy "easy" victories.
Chef Saucerer given all the resources available to be the victor in Plan A --> Z.
So that, of them, the Chef as Putin's anointed successor, could yield the "authority" in the Russian political system garnered from success in Ukraine.
Prognosis: Chaos in Russia leading to its forces in Ukraine racing home to protect their villages and families from rapacious Wanger Nazis.

Oh my, another idiot take that just won’t die. The Europeans are not funding Russia’s war. They started from a deep structural dependency on Russian energy and have made tremendous — and fast — progress on decoupling. This isn’t something you just turn off overnight. And they still contribute far more to Ukraine in aid anyway.
In contrast, the US is not even remotely dependent on Russian fossil fuels and yet the Kremlin asset in the White House is easing sanctions anyway while completely shutting off aid.

I couldn't get what they are doing until I scaled it. They are sawing a log, wood for winter. Never seen doing it like him, raising a leg.
Good skill at wartime.
My grandparents saw it together, and then granddad chopped the sawed logs. He probably felt he would die before my grandmother, so he stored so much wood that she herself and then we, children abd grandchildren, could heat the house years after his death, over a decade.
She kept that wood for winter and chopped thinner branches, me as a teen too, which he had also stored in big heaps. He definitely did it not without a reason. He died over 70, she outlived him for 10 years, abd thee was still wood kept.
