Hero pilot Smit Machchhar speaks out for the first time since the attempted FlyDubai hijacking.
Machchhar walks through the harrowing moments he fought to save the flight, even as he was wounded and knocked to the ground.
The veteran pilot says he realized the aircraft was going down and gave himself one final push after he was already on the ground: "The door is right there."
Despite still being stabbed, Machchhar says he got back up and opened the door, crediting the others who jumped in to help.

BREAKING: Meta has reached a $16.68 billion settlement over a landmark lawsuit alleging its social media platforms harmed children.
The breaking settlement ends claims against the company as the trial was set to move forward.
@JonathanTurley says Meta has the financial firepower to absorb the impact as the company agrees to settle claims brought by states alleging its social media platforms harmed children.
