idk which is ore concerning, the fact that Manny almost certainly has a collection of consultants that got him to cut down on every single semi-principled stance or belief he's ever had, or the fact that he's been willing to listen to them
Gabe Evans and Manny Rutinel have basically the same answer on Israel: both support continued funding with no conditions. For anyone just tuning in to Manny, that's a complete 180 from what he believed just a few years ago.

We’re experiencing the largest anti-war student movement since the 1960s. Proud to stand alongside students peacefully protesting for Palestine yesterday at the Auraria Campus. Power to the Students. ✊🏽 End the Genocide in Gaza. ❌ Free Palestine. 🇵🇸

Has anyone from centrist twitter (@jonathanchait @neeratanden @shannonrwatts etc) said a word about Trump sending his gestapo into Ilhan Omar's home today, or are they too busy handwringing over AES and Piker?

Lol. She lost a debate to Lauren Borbert with that ‘I used to be a Republican’ nonsense. These Jason Crow picks ain’t shit.
Democrat Eileen Laubacher, running against Republican Lauren Boebert, is running an ad that says she’s “done with the extremists in both parties.” Asked to name the extremists in the Democratic Party and how she’d stand up to them, this is what happened:

Notable development here, as it appears Ro Khanna is taking the lead among progressives in demanding policy concessions from Hakeem Jeffries in exchange for no longer unconditional support for his speakership. This is how you begin to organize power
Ro Khanna on Hakeem Jeffries likely becoming the next Speaker of the House: What we need to do is figure out how we can get him to have a vote on Medicare for All, on zeroing out aid for Israel, on free childcare, and how we can have a bold progressive agenda. And that needs to be the conversations after we win the House.

I’m 50. For our whole lives America has been told populist New Deal-style economics are fringe & “far left” rather than mainstream and in the actual center of public opinion. The gaslighting machine is finally losing some of its power — which is why the machine’s owners are mad.

If you’re protesting and blaming *checks notes* Zohran Mamdani for the Gaza genocide you may, you just may, need to check yourself into a mental health facility.
Pro-Palestinian protesters gather outside City Hall to call out Mayor Zohran Mamdani for what they see as his betrayal of the movement. "Mayor Mamdani, you can't hide we charge you with genocide" was a chant that just rang out.

Progress isn’t possible alone. I’m so proud to be endorsed by such incredible organizations that have been standing up for our communities long before our campaign, and we’re ready to build strong coalitions for bold, necessary change. Let’s get to work.

I’m having to see the same exact issue with my work. Each week we’re seeing up to 75 Uber and Lyft drivers coming in over deactivations, and very few understand why their driver accounts do not work. We have to break it all down to simple terms for them.

Unlike Dem nominees in NC & AK, Dem nominees in MI & MN faced well-financed smear campaigns from Neera’s corporate Dem faction. Maine’s Dem nominee has reportedly been kneecapped by DC consultants. The broader lesson: Corporate Dems & DC Dem elites are toxic to Dem nominees.

Reports from Cornell, LSU, and United Airlines demonstrate a crisis of misogyny in this country. Universities protect the star athlete. Fraternities protect their own. Corporations protect their bottom line. Women and girls deserve accountability.

We're told progressive ideas are "fringe." Really? 59% want Medicare for All 57% want a $20 minimum wage 61% want a billionaire wealth tax 63% want to pause AI development 66% want the wealthy to pay more into Social Security Maybe it's the establishment that's out of touch.
