Democrats can’t afford to return to the pre-Trump status quo. Working Americans were being screwed then & it's worse now.
We need to pass Medicare for All, tax billionaire wealth, ban SuperPACs & change our overly militarized foreign policy.
We must rewire our broken politics.

The very quickest way to squander it is to not actually deliver real policy wins for working class people. And that's true not just of Dems at the federal level, every single state and local elected needs to be part of that project in the lead up to 2028.
The field is opening up so much that Democrats are spending in Mississippi and the NRCC Chair is fighting for his life in North Carolina and the head of CAP is still litigating the Michigan primary. With 12 days until the general election, this is a generational run of obsession.

Literally Rogers would have nothing to campaign against her on. He's going to attack her for being too close to Israel? I don't think so. We have to lock in to defeat Rogers here but I don't think the DSCC would have to have spent a dime in Michigan if Haley was the nominee.

Here's a fun little feature of American democracy: @KellyAyotte's former Bloom Energy stock holdings could now be worth over $1 MILLION.
But New Hampshire doesn't require its governor to disclose specific stock holdings.
So voters have no way of knowing if she still owns them.

New Hampshire Gov. Kelly Ayotte signed a law easing oversight of data center power providers.
She previously sat on the board of one such company — and her former stock holdings could now be worth more than $1 MILLION. Now she's calling for a data center pause.

Trump-aligned super PACs poured at least $5.6 MILLION into one Michigan House race this month.
The money is helping protect Republican Rep. Tom Barrett against progressive challenger Will Lawrence.
It's now the most expensive House race of the 2026 midterms.

Here's Washington in a nutshell:
@RepTomBarrett took tens of thousands of dollars from defense contractors and billionaire executives.
He initially backed Trump's Iran war, then moved to restrict it.
Trump-aligned super PACs are spending millions to keep him in Congress.

Florida State Rep. @AngieNixon says she received a racist voicemail filled with slurs.

Obama’s former Interior Secretary @KenSalazar is urging Coloradans to reject a ballot measure that would cut taxes for 97% of taxpayers — but raise them on the wealthy.
Someone earning his former $3.4 million income could pay an extra $111,000 a year.

Democrats think the midterms are in the bag. @Tim_Walz says that’s how you lose.
He warns Democrats can win and still lose, and he has a lot to say about 2024, Obama on corruption, and Rahm Emanuel’s call to cast out Democratic Socialists.

Cool, it only took these galaxy brains 25 years to figure out what the populist wing of the party has known and argued for for literally our entire lives. I wonder how many millions of dollars consultants and pollsters were were paid to discover such amazing revelations…
