And taxpayers are paying for it twice, once in salary, once in a ₹485 Crore lie.

We Indians pay more direct taxes than indirect and still face

12 lacs exempted but all hardship allowances earned in LoC/LAC by a soldiers get added to 12L now.
So they are paying more taxes than before and @adgpi is the only Army in the world that pay taxes of hardship allowance
PS: MPs constituency visiting allowances are still exempted
We also bought another change at the same time; We are perhaps the only army in the world that taxes its soldiers’ hardship allowances.
hardship allowances, which were previously exempt from tax, are now being taxed, while MPs’ constituency travel allowances remain tax-exempt.
All these trees are sacrificed and gone now to accommodate livelihood of poor hawkers!

On 6th Oct, I sent my Thar to Unnati Motors Wagholi Pune @MahindraRise for regular servicing before leaving for Kashmir. Since the vehicle was making a lot of noise, I took it back for a check up, only to be charged almost ₹5,000 again.
Without even asking for my consent, they added services like car washing, interior enrichment and other extras, when all I wanted was a simple vehicle health check.
Is this how @anandmahindra plans to make money from customers?

CHANDIGARH CAB CRISIS: UT admins suspended Ola, Uber, Rapido & InDrive licences, leaving Bharat Taxi as the only major option and both passengers and drivers are facing harassment.
Passengers report drivers accepting app bookings then cancelling and demanding inflated cash fares, with no real choice left. Short rides that once cost ~₹100 are now quoted at ₹175-200 or higher on Bharat Taxi, with people calling the rates “daylight robbery.”
Availability is poor, waits are longer, and many feel forced to pay whatever is demanded.
Drivers are also under pressure. Authorities have challaned/impounded hundreds of vehicles (915 reported, ₹91.5 lakh in fines), with STA teams posing as customers to catch those still using suspended apps. Drivers are resorting to workarounds while earnings drop amid the monopoly.
A crackdown meant to fix problems has created a single-platform market where both sides say they’re being squeezed.

Since It’s connecting an Hinjewadi IT park that’s why undergoing all kind of testing be it functional or non functional.

Vodafone doesn’t work smoothly in many of the extreme locations I visit around the LoC or LAC; it isn’t cheap either. Still, I never took a Jio connection due to my moral differences with the group.
Then how can I even subscribe to their shares?
PS: I ported from Airtel to Vi 7 years ago, and the other cellular companies have unfortunately been killed by policies. So I don’t have much options left but to continue with them. If they go too, then Airtel but never Jio.
