I'm calling it a night my friends. I'm extremely saddened tonight to have been attacked by an account that I admired and respected. She also called all my friends that follow both me and her, 'simps'. That kind of disrespect of very decent people is what I thought our side doesn't do.
I'll get over this but I'm still saddened.
Tomorrow is another day and I will still hope that people become nicer to each other.
G'night, see y'all for coffee 💋

Police Are Increasingly Pulling People Over Because AI Deems Their Driving Patterns “Suspicious”
-----
Police are using AI-powered license-plate surveillance to identify people as “suspicious” based simply on their travel patterns.
Systems using ALPR data can analyze where someone has driven and flag ordinary behavior—such as traveling between states—as potentially criminal.
Those AI alerts are leading to “pretextual” traffic stops.
Instead of telling drivers they were flagged by surveillance, officers may cite a minor traffic violation to justify pulling them over, questioning them, and sometimes searching their vehicles.
The ACLU warns this represents a major expansion of mass surveillance: rather than using license-plate records to investigate someone already suspected of a crime, AI can continuously analyze the movements of millions of innocent people and generate suspicion where none previously existed, potentially including associations, political activity, protests, and travel.

Flock is now playing games with FPD and the court. The company missed the (court-ordered) deadline, blaming “formatting issues” and intends to seek an order to keep potentially exculpatory information out of the court's hands.
The federal district court for Colorado authorized a subpoena requiring Flock to produce records in a criminal case. Including records about predictive technology, and its integrations with other systems.

“It was basically a heat map of the U.S., and I could see different circles where I’d been, and when he clicked on it, it was a photo of my license plate,” Knowles told the ACLU.
These Russian bots are getting good.
