#edtech committee assemble! Our @BloomWorldAcad edtech team had a lovely intro to Apple Leadership last night to further intergrate tech into learning: School vision and collaborative and inclusive learning. Great to learn about how #AppleEdu and #IB compliment so well!

How are you keeping your students interested in #readingforpleasure and #books towards the end of the school year? We are trialling using @lightup for students to create book reviews. Here's a dynamic globe (clouds change) on our atlas as an example!

Replying to @ICTEvangelist
I do know what it is, but, in a class where we encouage students to use a range of methods to express their learning does a WAGOLL somewhat limit that expression and encourage copying/cookie cutter work?

We need more of this thinking in education so that our students benefit from our learning! 🙌

As a science teacher, I fell into the trap of thinking "I can't code. That's not me" Until last week. And the ripple of "what can I now do to upgrade lesson delivery" is still percolating around my head. Daily reminder to always try new things! Thanks @EZ_Robot

It is, I agree, particularly with European languages. I'd love to see how accurate it is with languages that have non organised characters within a class setting (Arabic, Chinese, Russian etc) Which languages do you often translate to?

Another fab book recommendation. Check out “Tiny Voices Talk” from @Toriaclaire - it has Ferdi’s 🐶 paw of approval 🐾 - love part VI, “ways to find your voice”. Great Christmas gift ;)

The highest projected earners are students that go into STEM, and the least regretted major is Computer Science. But have a look at the most regretted fields📖 Is robotics literacy for all the answer to turn this around? Is this global? @EZ_Robot @jdickler cnbc.com/2022/11/12/the-top-…

😮😬🙈 oh gosh, with 5 year olds?! That vision of the future sorta reminds me of the matrix....
Ooo, an excellent question. My own thoughts is that it shouldnt be an "either/or", rather "how can this be used to improve what is already there". Learning is a social process, how can meta create a more relevant environment for our students to engage within our schools?
