I truly believe in the concept of “you are what your record says you are”. But I do think the Vikings are a bit of a flawed undefeated team. A good team, but 1 side is doing a lot of the lifting. I think that’s why people are a little apprehensive to put Minnesota high.

The “per usual” was in reference to the league. The NFL trade deadline usually is underwhelming relative to the expectations we put upon it. There’s not many blockbusters that happene year to year. You have some but it’s usually more conservative than we all want it to be vs free agency.

I have an odd feeling that it will be an underwhelming trade deadline per usual this year. I hope I’m wrong, but Ryan is not super active at the deadline ever.

I’d say Khalil Mack. He has the best price to productivity ratio. Would only cost you a fifth round pick most likely, and his contract is 6 million. The other 2 might be better players, but they would command more draft capital and have a higher salary. The Bears need a rental, this defense isn’t going to get drastically better until the off-season.
