Hi friends, We love the enthusiasm, but we try not to post the comic directly to Twitter/X to minimize the art being scraped by generative AI 🧡💙 links to the comic are better for us as well since page views helps us keep the lights on

I hate to say this, but I will: most hyper-charismatic leaders don't know enough about the Bible to even understand the criticisms of TPT. It's not just that they are unwilling to look at the criticisms (though this is an issue); it is that they are incapable of understanding the criticisms. They legitimately don't know what language the NT was written in or why Aramaic primacy is the laughingstock of Biblical scholarship or why Brian's "download" of "homonyms" is absurd. This is the fruit of decades of self-appointed "apostles" and "prophets" declaring that they are qualified based on their "anointing" rather than any Biblical training or education. All of this has escalated to the point where Bethel Church needs to consult "skilled organizations" to determine whether TPT is a credible Bible or not. Biblical elders are "able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it." (Titus 1:9) If someone is incapable of or unwilling to do this, they have no business being in leadership within the church.

I've been consistently running #Daggerheart for about a year, and I love it because it makes it easy for my tables to tell great #stories.

There is no debate. If you use AI, it’s not real writing. The end.

For the past few months, I’ve been running #daggerheart (by @DarringtonPress) sessions at a local brewery. It’s been a ton of fun! #ttrpg

Definitely a favorite of mine. I bought the original DVD run, and now I own it on BluRay. And the movie is AMAZING! I also imported the soundtracks from Japan from a website that specialized in that back in 2002.
Cowboy Bebop first premiered on Adult Swim 25 years ago this September. Twenty-five years. And I think I might love it more now than I even did back then. There's something beautiful about carrying a love for a story across decades.

Worst small group question for Bible studies… “What does it mean to you?” Don’t ask what it means TO YOU but what it means independent of whether you exist or not.

I used to have decent traction on X (when it was still Twitter), back when I ran a podcast account for a previous project. I'm not sure what to do with X for an in-person ministry. So much has changed that I'm not sure if it's something that'll help the ministry.

I know X works for a lot of people, and I'm not ready to walk away. But it takes a lot of time and effort to make content for one social media account (Insta), and that media content doesn't translate well to X. Open to suggestions!
