As promised, I’m starting this little series today. Will hit a few spots along my RA travels

Budget: $100
Goal: Turn $100 into $1000
As stated before, $1000 isn’t enough to start effectively on Amazon
Contrary to what a lot of people say
You’re better off hitting garage sales/estate sales/thrift stores and selling on eBay/local
Within the next week or so, I’m going to start a series of turning $100 into $1000
Will post what I buy, cost, and when it sells along with profit
The goal is to help those with limited cash

My top 10 tips and tricks to boost your eBay sales:
Tip #1: Improve photo quality
What's the first thing potential buyers will see? Your pictures. Keep your background as clean and simple as possible. You can download the free PhotoRoom app to remove backgrounds for a cleaner look.
Tip #2: Increase your buyer's confidence
If you’re selling grocery, beauty, or health products, capture these details:
• Expiration date and/or lot numbers
• Product seal
• Product weight (if no seal)
The goal is to show your customer that the product hasn’t been used.
Tip #3: Optimize the title
People search your products by using the search bar so give them the keywords to find them. Key tips:
- Use highly descriptive keywords
- Make your titles as long as possible
- Include the brand, type, color, style, etc.
Tip #4: List consistently
The eBay algorithm favors those who list consistently. It's better to list a few times per day instead of doing all 25 of your listings in one day.
Tip #5: Sell internationally
Utilize eBay's Global Shipping Program. More buyers = more sales. This program makes your items available to more than 60 million buyers worldwide. Just make sure to check the restricted/prohibited items.
Tip #6: Use a fixed price
Auction or Buy it now? Both formats can be effective tools when used properly but it all comes down to what you are selling. IMO, using "buy it now" is more effective for essential products. Buyers don't want to wait for the products they need.
Tip #7: Promote your listings
eBay’s promoted listings enable sellers to advertise inside the platform. It’s a simple way to boost exposure for your items for a small fee. Type in the % you're willing to pay and eBay will move your listing to the top.
Tip #8: Write detailed descriptions
The more information you can provide, the more confident the buyer will be.
Tip #9: Send offers
Send an offer as soon as you see someone is interested in your listing. A buyer is more likely to accept when it’s fresh on their mind and has less time to look at competitors’ prices.
Tip #10: Sell products customers want
Reselling is all about solving problems. Find the problem (rare toys, product shortages, discontinued products, etc.) and provide access to the solution. The more problems you solve, the more money you'll make.
