“I welcome it… everything we do is for our fans and there’s a lot of noise around us. We don’t really pay much attention to it, it’s a partnership we feel with our fans.”

Dalton Rushing is having surgery on his right elbow today, per @maddie_m_lee, which will keep him out as a catcher for nine months but allow him to hit sooner.
The Dodgers can capitalize on the lockout and fully resolve Rushing's issue rather than continue with non-surgical healing methods.

Dodgers' Dalton Rushing is undergoing right elbow surgery today, per sources. It's expected to be a hybrid internal brace procedure. The expected timeline to return to catching full time is 9 months, with a return to hitting well before then.
