For last 24 hours I’ve seen footage of horrific scenes from Gaza, just absolute human misery. Yet..it’s not there on any news outlet’s home pages, not discussed on our witless political shows. We’re just going to ignore it? Is that the plan?

Have a listen... We could do with some of that here... Take note @JohnSwinney and at the very least place a moritorium on AI Data Centres...
“Tech billionaires… are not your constituents.”
Community organiser Katie Dapkus went viral last month after telling Kentucky city councillors that “the people could not be clearer” about rejecting data centres, unregulated AI, and surveillance technology.
Voters in at least 38 jurisdictions passed bans or restrictions on data centres in the US midterms elections.

The high value jobs utilising the power of the data centres can be hundreds or thousands of miles away.
You can be sure they won't be in Scotland.
Just as we are exploited to send electricity and hydrocarbons to London and get nothing for them but a handful of jobs in production.
New documents released by the Scottish government under a freedom of information request show that data centres could cause water shortages, higher energy bills and power cuts.
