As a gay guy, they will tell me the right wants to kill me, but I can actually safely Converse with the right, even the explicitly anti gay ones, where we can discuss our differences and diffrent beliefs without any danger 95% of the time, there are some violent wackos but they are a minorityon the right, but with the left, they would straight up want to murder me for having opinions they do not like or not wanting to support communism/socialism, the right has no problem hearing diffrent opinions or diffrent beliefs, but the left ONLY wants to hear their opinions and beliefs coming out of your mouth and will turn violent, foam at the mouth, and label you a "far right nazi" if you even dare step out so much of a inch out of line

This is is truth that libertarians must not ignore. Listen to Elon. Flight for Liberty!
My biggest concern is that if there is a clean sweep by Democrats of the House, Senate and Presidency in 2028, they will:
1. Make DC and Puerto Rico states to gain a strong majority in the Senate.
2. Open the borders and legalize everyone living in America illegally to cement a permanent majority.
3. Increase the size of the Supreme Court to gain an immediate majority.
This would result in America becoming a permanent one-party state and the end of democracy in any meaningful sense of the word.
All that is needed to ensure this doesn’t happen is 51 Republican senators in 2029. That is why you should vote for Republican senators this election. Other reasons are irrelevant compared to this one.

This is a good point but I will say as a counterpoint that my career in politics began as an unpaid volunteer for Ron Paul's 2008 presidential campaign and it did lead to many paid jobs in politics. It is a fact however that the right wing jobs in politics pay WAY less than our leftist counterparts in both media and non-profits unless you're at the very tippy top. A producer at MSNBC is going to clear 2x-3x more than their counterparts. Libertarianism itself fails in part because it has absolutely zero patronage networks and Republicans have only a small and closely guarded one. Many of the same opportunities I had when I began in 2008 don't exist now however, as some of the ladders I climbed were pulled up and skillfully eliminated by our opponents in Big Tech.
In FY2026, the Trump admin delivered the first full year with virtually zero third-world refugees admitted; 99.9% were White South Africans.
FY2026 is the first first-ever fiscal year with zero Border Patrol releases, and 2026 has the lowest asylum grant rate in U.S. history.

"And what attracted you to the Mike Rogers campaign?"
"Well, he's American."
Patriot.
Democrat Abdul El-Sayed’s campaign message is NOT resonating with black voters in Detroit.
El-Sayed is banking on that voting block in Michigan, but from what these voters are saying on the ground, that’s far from guaranteed.
One voter even admitted he’s a lifelong Democrat who’s crossing party lines to vote for Republican Mike Rogers.
VOTER: “It’s a first time thing because I’ve been Democrat forever. So yeah, I’m switching Republican now.”
Keep in mind, black voters in Detroit REJECTED El-Sayed during the Democrat primary — he received just 31% of the vote against Haley Stevens.
He lost Detroit outright to Stevens by 28 points.
If Rogers can secure even a portion of that vote, it could spell MAJOR trouble for El-Sayed next week.
Democrats seem to think black voters will fall in line no matter who they put forward.
But that’s not the case with this race.

I love prequel memes. And I’ve been enjoying the sort of Zoomer take on the Star Wars prequels floating around X for the last couple of days.
A lot of these takes hinge on the idea of Anakin as representative of the white male experience in a progressive culture, where the good guys are actually the bad guys, and the bad guys are the good guys. And there is a good deal of truth to that.
But I think there’s something important being overlooked, something that is central to how I read the story.
I see the first six Star Wars movies as essentially being about fatherhood.
Anakin has no father. He comes from a single-parent home. Qui-Gon Jinn takes an interest in Anakin as a person. He is a benevolent fatherly presence who advocates for Anakin, sees his potential, and wants to protect and guide him. And part of that protection is even from the Jedi Order itself, since Qui-Gon disagrees with some of its ways.
The great tragedy of that first movie is that Qui-Gon, Anakin’s only true father figure, dies. Anakin is left to be raised by a cold Jedi Order and Obi-Wan Kenobi, who functions more like an older brother. Obi-Wan loves Anakin, but he is no father.
Without fatherly guidance and protection, Anakin struggles to enter the world of men and is used by two sides: a cold, detached Jedi Order and a manipulative false father in Palpatine.
And just as Anakin becomes the one thing he never had, a father, he loses much of his humanity, his wife, and his family.
That is the central tragedy of the prequels.
Now consider the original trilogy.
You have a son who is raised by a father figure in Uncle Owen and eventually finds himself under the care of a much older and more fatherly Obi-Wan. So, Luke was actually fathered, unlike Anakin. The series slowly turns into Luke’s quest to see his father redeemed.
In the end, Luke is unwilling to kill his father. And Anakin finds his redemption by killing his own false father to rescue his son.
That is the triumph of the original trilogy: a son pulling his father back from the darkness by becoming the man his father once desired to be.
And that father, even at the very end of his life, being awakened and doing what it takes to give his son a future.
That’s how I read Star Wars.
The tragedy of fatherlessness, and the triumph of sonship and fatherhood.

I hate the whole talking point of "America is only 50% white that means it's a lost cause" because clearly people who say this don't actually believe in that line of thought. If you were to ask these people
"If Japan was only 50% Japanese, would it be okay to say that Japan is a lost cause as it is past the so called demographic point of no return?"
A good amount of them would say that it's not okay to abandon Japan because of how beautiful Japan is or something. So why not apply that line of thinking to the US as well?

This low IQ lettuce Mario says “What about 1953, when the U.S. and Britain helped overthrow Iran's democratically elected PM”.
Mossadegh was not a democratically elected PM. The Shah appointed him after Parliament recommended him. The so called “Prime Minister” was literally committing treason by handing Iran over to the Soviet Union. The Shah simply removed him from power. That’s his job as the head of state.
And Americans helped their ally, the Shah, to fight against the communist takeover of Iran. Simple.
The whole point of 2A is military grade weaponry.
Assault weapon bans work—and states and localities should have the ability to enact them if they so choose.
I led my Democratic colleagues in submitting an amicus brief to the Supreme Court urging the justices to uphold the constitutionality of these responsible restrictions on military grade weaponry.

🚨 EXCLUSIVE: European Parliament money helped fund a CLOSED-DOOR meeting on resistance to Trump and MAGA ahead of America’s midterms.
The keynote speaker? A University of Georgia professor who had publicly argued that Democratic victories could “make Trump a much weaker president for the rest of his second term.”
The June 3 meeting examined where Democratic Party, activist and NGO resistance was working—and how European progressives could learn from it and strengthen transatlantic cooperation.
The agenda spells it out:
“CLOSED DOOR ROUNDTABLE.”
“financial support of the European Parliament.”
European Parliament Vice-President Katarina Barley convened it. The Foundation for European Progressive Studies and Germany’s Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung organized it.
Professor Cas Mudde delivered the keynote, according to the organizers’ recap.

Oh you're anti-war?
So you're against the American Revolution?
No?
Oh okay.
Then shut the f*ck up with your "I'm anti-war" bit.
You're pro-war when your preference of outcome gives you comfort.
And that's the reality: war is hell, but it's not inherently unjust in defense.
