“What if the Odysseus you knew lost his way? What if...one night, in a strange city, he saw things that made him think the home he knew couldn't possibly be there anymore. What if…when he left the belly of the horse, and opened the gates of Troy, he saw ten years of rage pour into that city in one night? We left them a gift, an offering of peace, that they took into their home. We violated all that's ever sacred between people. It turned a fight into a hunt. To burn the walls of Troy was to burn the world-entire.”

Steven Spielberg has written a tribute about the late Sam Neill after his tragic passing. “I owe a debt of gratitude to Roger Donaldson, Gilliam Armstrong, Graham Baker and Phillip Noyce for casting Sam Neill in the roles in which he was so brilliant that brought him to my attention and led to his playing Dr. Alan Grant in Jurassic Park. Sam was exceptionally collaborative. It was a stretch for him to play a character who acted as though children were messy and smelly because this was the opposite of the loving father he was to his children.  I adored making all the Jurassic movies with him. Along with Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum, we will always have our Jurassic family and Sam will never be forgotten by us or his many millions of fans around the world.”

2025. The year that @NUFC lifted the @Carabao_Cup 🏆 A truly historic day under the arch as Newcastle United ended a 70-year wait for silverware. It really was a win that a generation of Geordies had been waiting for ⚫️⚪️ #CarabaoCup

Does anyone know what is or isn't handball anymore as the referees or VAR clearly don't. Doesn't excuse the performance but that's handball. #NUFC

Newcastle hit back after Isak broke silence with bombshell statement

CRAIG HOPE: The club have pursued alternatives all summer and, had they signed one of their top targets, they would have explored Isak's sale to Liverpool, recognising his desire to move on.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of our former player, Wyn Davies at the age of 83. ‘Wyn the Leap’ made over 200 appearances for the club and was part of our 1969 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup winning side. Our thoughts are with Wyn’s family and friends at this sad time. 🖤🤍
