Sadly I think many people have experienced a leader like this. The lack of EI, humanity and care for others speaks volumes about a school’s culture. When you experience a toxic school it’s awful and hard to comprehend.

Seeing more comments (on a dif thread abt. P1Q4) that examiners this year have been told to look for a certain number of comments at a particular level to determine the mark. Seems like quite the change to me. One that maybe teachers/students should have been informed of??

Honestly, I put off a review of our KS4 as there wasn’t enough info and new Nat Curric pending. It’s now due and I’m wondering whether pause for another year. Proper consultation and realignment takes a full year. I can’t keep kicking it down the road due to shifting sands.

By definition 50% of schools will always be below average, even though which ones they are may change. Just as by requirement a third of pupils will always 'fail' GCSE. Time for more sophisticated judgements.
